We can really recommend Bayonne for a visit. Charming and easy to move about.
Pros:

Excellent location, good beds, quiet hotel with old-fashion charm. Very good breakfast.

Pros:

Close to the train station. Staff friendly but not overwhelmingly. Breakfast ok with fresh fruit salad and organic Gouda but no other cheese choices and very average patisserie - a bit expensive for what it is. They helped us out with cooling batteries and kept luggage for us - very kind!

Cons:

A bit run down, small everywhere and bad smell in the bathroom; the AC is loud during the night, so we turned it off. All in all ok, if you want to stay close to la gare.

Clean and comfy budget hotel.
Pros:

Next to train station and easy access to city centre. Very warm welcome from staff on arrival and throughout my stay. Room was clean and comfortable and plenty of space.

Cons:

Place was a little dated. and had see better days.

Son emplacement à côté de la gare donc on peut prendre le train pour aller dans les villes autour et c est top , le rapport qualité pris la déco et la literie confortable 🤩

Empfehlung für einen kurzen Aufenthalt zu einem guten Preis
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage, Parkplatz in der Nähe verfügbar für einen kleinen Aufpreis.
Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Hotel hat Charme und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt absolut empfehlenswert.

Cons:

Leider war es sehr hellhörig zum Flur und zu den anderen Zimmern über uns.

Reservé una habitación cuádruple por la foto mostrada en la página web después de pagar 175 euros sin desayuno. La habitación que nos dieron era muy cutre, rozaba el límite de lo standard y no se correspondía ni con la fotografía ni con algo similar ni con el precio.
Ventana a un interior a medio metro con vistas a los yonkies del barrio. Tras la protesta, el hotel comentó que no comentó que no tenían habitaciones disponibles, sin más opciones.
Una lástima, desaconsejo vivamente el hotel en este tipo de habitaciones por este precio desmesurado.
Sí hubiera podido, me hubiera ido a otro sitio, pero estaba con dos menores y una persona dependiente a cargo.
