A fantastic and unforgettable place to celebrate our first anniversary — Fonab Castle made it feel truly special.
Pros:

Fonab Castle sits in a truly stunning location, with stylish bars and an elegant restaurant looking directly over the River Garry. The views alone make the experience memorable, but the atmosphere inside is just as impressive — refined, relaxed and beautifully designed. The cocktails were outstanding, crafted with real care and creativity, and our meal was probably the best we’ve ever had, with every course perfectly executed. The spa facilities were exceptional too, offering a peaceful escape with luxurious treatments and immaculate surroundings. Fonab Castle blends modern comfort with historic charm, creating a stay that feels both indulgent and unforgettable.

Cons:

Our stay was lovely overall, but the room itself felt a little tucked out of the way, and we were surprised not to have a bath considering the premium rate. It took a little away from the otherwise luxurious experience Fonab Castle is known for.

Good hotel for recharging your batteries. Food good.
Pros:

Peacefully location. Hotel facilities modern and clean. All staff seemed friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Needs some night entertainment. Nearest town of Pitlochry does not have a taxi service. You have to use your car for transport and if you want a drink in Pitlochry then you cannot use your car. Draught beer needed and bottle needs more selection in Hotel.

we had our meal delivered to our room , soup was beautiful curry was nice , breakfast was lovely .

Memorable!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay. The location is stunning, with beautiful views over Loch Faskally, and the hotel perfectly captures the charm of a traditional Scottish castle. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay!

We also really appreciated that the restaurant offers Halal chicken, which made dining much easier for our family.

Cons:

Nothing. Everything exceeded our expectations!

Venlig mandlig tjener ved morgenmaden.

Cons:

Fortravlet personale. Døre og karme i vores bungalow af ringe kvalitet. Dørlåsen løs. Lille værelse. Ingen aircondition. Elendigt lys på badeværelset. Ventilator af overraskende dårlig kvalitet, knirkede meget.
