Andril has become my absolute favorite. Super clean, super quiet ,all is very well kept
Staff is like family .location is about 8 minutes from the pacific,only dunes (and Asilomar) in between. You have your own cabin, with a kitchen,bed/sitting room and a bath room .and vary conventiently located .
I couldn't recommend this place more highly! It has been family run for decades and you can really tell they know what they are doing. The property is compact but extremely peaceful with lots of beautiful landscaping and fun statuary to discover. The staff are genuinely friendly. Though the cottages are close together, they are thoughtfully angled and situated to provide the most privacy. The cottage was fantastically clean with comfortable beds and pillows. The location is awesome for walking to Asilomar Beach (though also only a 4-minute drive and also easy to park along the street there). The neighborhood is quiet with wandering deer and moss draped trees. There are grocery stores and restaurants within a 5-minute drive or 30 minute walk. Free snacks are available all day in the office as well as separate breakfast items there in the morning. It is all grab and go food but I was utterly amazed at the variety and quality; they were all name brand and upscale items. We really enjoyed having access to that and it made the day so easy. We stayed four nights in two-bedroom cottage number 22 which has a super private back courtyard where we saw hummingbirds and really enjoyed the beautiful California landscaping and artwork. My only recommendation is for them to add bedside tables and outlets for both sides of the beds. This place is a total gem and we loved it!

Nothing healthy to eat at all. for breakfast. everything was full of sugar . when I asked about this the response was that they were saving money buying these items.
It was near beach. It had great landscaping. Clean. Friendly staff.
The air flow was terrible. Very hot to sleep in the rooms and living room had a ceiling fan, but you had to have all the bright lights in kitchen and can lights on in the entry way on in order to run it! One switch for all lights! Even with windows open you didn't have a fan to blow it around. The hot tub closed at 9:30. Pretty early in our party! We didn't get to use it. Very small living room and the sofa couch was horrible to sleep on. The living room had a small sofa couch and one chair. Only three adults could sit at one time for a two-bedroom unit! Breakfast was served at 8 am so if you needed to leave earlier you didn't get in the office for it!
What a great quant place to go and stay. All the people working and staying there made you feel extremely comfortable. Rooms were very clean and the fireplaces were nice to have at night when the temperature was on the cold side. Great areas within the complex to have gatherings with friends, which we did with 50 of them. All the coffee, snacks, etc. you could want. It was a short walk to the beach and short drive to anywhere else you would want to go to in the area.
We travel with a bike group once or twice a year and Andril Fireplace Cottages is our first choice every time. The rooms are well maintained and most are very spacious. We also appreciate the group seating area and BBQ for guests.

Great for dogs. Very modest cottages but neat and clean. Lots of spaces for dogs to explore and play. We chose this location bc we needed to leave our dog for a few hours in order to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Very small for the price. Have to do dishes in the bathroom sink. Old microwave. Not much choice for breakfast.
We had a lovely stay in our little cottage. They supply everything you need, including firewood which is replenished every morning. The cottage was very clean, as are the grounds. Beds are very comfortable. The people at the front desk are very kind, helpful, and friendly (the young woman who checked us in was very thorough and walked us to our cottage and explained everything well in a delightful manner). We brought our large German Shepherd dog and he really enjoyed the surroundings. The other people staying at the property were kind, quiet, and respectful. The beach is within walking distance and the area offers an array of great food and attractions. We mostly loved relaxing in front of the fire and enjoying the quiet and calm atmosphere. We will certainly return and would recommend staying here if you are looking for a simple, quiet, and relaxing stay.

Just so quaint and beautiful!
We have stayed here twice and have had wonderful stays. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The location is a short walk to Asilomar beach where there are beautiful walking trails. Our two dogs enjoyed their stays as well, they gave the lobby dog treats and the grassy area a solid 5/5!
