The staff were amazing. Only had a problem a manageress.
Pros:

The staff were amazing and the beach was great for swimming.

Cons:

Old warn out lumpy mattress. 😖 which didn’t reflect the price of the room. Best avoid if you are hoping for a good night’s rest. We would have stay long than 4 days but it was just too uncomfortable. 🙁

Удачные номера, все старое и грязное. В номере было окно которое выходило в стену!!!!! Ужасное освещение, все старое и сломанное. Отвратительные завтраки , еда невкусная и не стоит этих денег

Exorbitant price for subpar guesthouse conditions, so unlivable I had to check out early.

The only thing I liked was the moment I checked out and left this place.

Cons:

Extremely poor experience,
The 4-star rating of this property is highly inaccurate. I booked an Ocean View room for 3 nights at $267.7 USD but checked out early after the second night due to unacceptable conditions.
Room & Environment: The room requires climbing three flights of stairs and is poorly lit. The bathroom has no windows or ventilation. More importantly, the window is directly above the resort's BBQ stand, causing heavy smoke and grilling smells to fill the room day and night. Loud music from the restaurant opposite blasts until midnight, making sleep impossible.
Breakfast: There is no buffet as expected for this price point; only a very limited set menu is provided.
Service: The management shows a complete disregard for guests, treating customers as one-time transactional targets rather than valued clients. I requested a room change twice. Even though the hotel clearly had vacancies, the front desk dismissed the request and insisted they were full.
I chose to cut my losses and leave early. This property operates like a subpar guesthouse with exorbitant prices and zero professional service. Not recommended.

The best part of our Bali and Gili T holiday was staying at Scallywags and Gili T <3
Pros:

The staff is just amazing and the place has got such great character and vibe. We stayed in The garden room with pool and our teenage son in a garden room. Everyone loved the place. The breakfast was large and I like the "old" style that you choose from a menu. The food was great. We ate our meals there nearly everyday, because we liked the place so much We went out snorkling with a local guy, Aziez, and that was great as well. Our son took his divers certificate with Gili divers and that was also great.

Great place to stay , location and staff are top. BBQ restaurant-excellent
Pros:

From the start I was greeted by the concierge -Yon with a welcoming drink and friendly smile and he talked me through everything I needed to know about the place and surroundings which made me feel comfortable. The food at both of their restaurants was amazing. Great place to stay.

Cons:

There wasn’t much I didn’t like about the place, everything I needed was close by and if I needed any help they were more than happy to help me out.

Pros:

All the staff were so friendly, lovely room with plunge pool and outdoor bathroom. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choice. All in all a great stay. Thank you.

Oustanding Accommodation, Quiet but Close to the Gili T Night Life!
Pros:

Scallywags smashed our expectations on several levels. It's close to the action, and there's plenty going on in the main street, yet it was amazingly quiet in the room. Super-helpful staff. We weren't there for the party life but just to experience Gili T for the first time (we've stayed in Gili Air and Meno before). Gili T was waaay better than we (a mature couple) had expected and Scallywags was a brilliant 'home' to come back to. Great bed, spacious room and bathroom and great shower were so good to have and the best we've had so far in Indo. My wife had insisted on the private plunge pool room and it was *well* worth it! Nice and cool, it was somewhere we could retreat to in privacy at any time to cool off with a quiet drink. Wholeheartedly recommended and keen to go back next time!

Prima locatie, maar gebrek aan warm water is jammer
Pros:

Hotel ligt op een prima locatie aan het strand. Er is een fijn zwembad aanwezig en we konden gebruikmaken van een badhanddoek. Er is een koelkastje op de kamer aanwezig. Het bed lag heerlijk. Shampoo en conditioner aanwezig.

Cons:

Wij hadden een kamer vlakbij de receptie en vonden het lawaaierig. Daarnaast hing er in de kamer een muffe geur wat gemaskeerd leek te worden met een extreem koud staande airco. De douche gaf enkel koud water, het water liep niet weg en de föhn was niet schoon.

Een deel van het receptie personeel kon geen Engels wat communiceren lastig maakt. Spa zat volledig volgeboekt.
