Pros:

Scallywags or “Scally’s” as it’s been fondly renamed by my family, was amazing.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, it had everything we needed. The pool was amazing. They helped us organise the snorkelling and it was so special - we went early in the morning and even my 3 year old got to participate (we had a kids mask with us)

The food here was AMAZING! It’s considered one of the best on the island by locals and tourists and we certainly enjoyed it. It’s 400m from the port and on the main strip. We loved our stay!

Cons:

It’s not spotlessly clean, but by no means was it dirty. So if you’re a super fussy person - go stay somewhere else.

Pros:

Very accommodating staff and clean facilities! Everyone was super kind and helpful, it was my second visit to scallywags and definitely not the last one! Can’t recommend enough!

3 night stay in the Gilis
Pros:

Location - right on the main east road, at a slight distance from the major party places - which suits me
Rooms - Garden rooms are great - outdoor bath area, lawn chairs and the room is spacious
Staff - as always, amazing helpful staff

Cons:

Breakfast - Bfast menu limited but good enough is the stay is short
Garden room lawn - didn't expect faux grass - though its not a big letdown

Pros:

The location is perfect to explore the island. Clean, friendly staff and breakfast on the beach watching the turtles is amazing. 3rd stay at scallywags and would definitely recommend. Garden rooms are a lovely extra.

Cons:

Setting up the tables for the evening at 3 30pm on the beach can disturb the relaxing afternoon.
