Friendly pub in a lovely location. Decent food and beer. Loads of seating so we always found somewhere to sit and enjoy
Pros:

Great location with lovely outside area/garden. Decent breakfast with variety of help yourself options.

Pros:

Great location in Crickhowell. Comfortable room. Good shower. Breakfast was cold continental but you could order from the breakfast menu for a extra charge.

Poor value and did not meet the expectations of a superior bed and breakfast.

Hotel/pub has good atmosphere and well situated.

Cons:

We booked and paid for a "superior" room with breakfast. The room we were given was not "superior" but a small clean standard. There was no window. There was restricted headroom in bedroom and bathroom. There was only the bed to sit on. In discussion with the manager we were told that the sole criteria for a room to be "superior" is that it has a raised shower head as opposed to a tap fitment. In our opinion this sole feature does not make a room superior. The included breakfast food consisted of only cereal and toast, therefore not even a proper "continental". Other items were available at extra charges. Having paid for a superior package, we were very disappointed and did not receive value for money. No conciliatory gesture or compensation was offered by the manager or the "owners" in a subsequent email exchange.

Excellent location and rooms
Pros:

Location, car park on site & the restaurant all great
Given the heat during my stay the room was amazing and cool which made for a great nights sleep

Nous avons apprécié la chambre avec son petit balcon et sa terrasse. Le petit-déjeuner continental était correct. Honnêtement, au vu des avis précédents, nous nous attendions à moins bien et avons été agréablement surpris !

Cons:

Prévoyez de la vigilance pour garer votre véhicule : l'accès au parking se fait par un passage très étroit. De plus, les stores de la chambre manquent d'opacité et laissent trop passer la lumière le matin.

Nice place, good location, could do with a few more refinements to make it better.
