Nice hotel, disappointing staff

Pros:

I booked for the room for my director and the staff was very nice while the whole booking process, they kept me informed, kept the booking even though there was an issue with the initial banking card and they accepted my special request. My colleague was overall very happy with his stay.

Good location and helpful staff, but room for improvement

Location was very central and the staff was really helpful.

Cons:

Even though we booked a non-smoking room, there was an incredibly strong smell of cigarette smoke when we checked in. Unfortunately, the smell had permeated the curtains and furniture, so it did not go away during our entire three-day stay.

The soundproofing was also quite poor, and noise from the street could be heard very clearly inside the room, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably.
