The only thing I can say was location I came here to visit my friend
Where do I start? I have stayed in this property four times and never had a problem. I’ve just come home from a free day. Stay and there is a lot of problems on arrival. We were told there was no breakfast which we did get a refund for and then it was disappointing from then on no toilet roll rooms not clean properly peanuts all over the floor. No remote from the TV room is not being replenished on a day-to-day basis also I know it around the hotel they were not being cleaned as there was pizza boxes left outside the hotel room for a couple of days. There was broken glass on the stairs didn’t get cleaned up just generally not clean had to ask for clean towels had to ask for toilet roll so suspense was watered down. I ended up having to go and buy shower gel because I asked to staff and they never put it in my room. I’m very disappointing as this is in a great location for me but I will not return to this hotel. It was not clean and a waste of my money. I didn’t enjoy it as I had to keep going downstairs to ask the staff for things that they should be doing on a day-to-day basis. Very disappointed.
Good location and clean.
The air conditioning unit leaked water all over the room while we were in bed, waking us up at 5:30 am and 8am. Not the relaxing night we had hoped for away from the kids! When reported to the hotel on check out, they said to email. I have complained to the hotel direct and the head office but not had a reply! Disgusting customer service!!!

Booked a room specifically on an early check in and it wasn’t ready. Very dated and in need of a refurb. Rooms were hot and no air conditioning. Premier Inn far better, especially for the money. Not usual Mercure standard

The bed was comfy. The location good.
The hotel was a little tired decor wise. The downstairs toilet at reception had an awful smell, sewage or worse. Right next to it an open fire exit right into the alley that seemed unsafe.
The room itself was ok, but damaged right curtain let in daylight to early. Shower gel had nothing but water in it.
