Quiet location.

They did no room service, pool was under maintenance, dripping vanity tap, the room bin was not emptied and the room was not tidied up.

Pros:

The location is convenient to everything since we walked everywhere as we flew into town. There was no need for a car to see things of interest and an easy walk to the local pubs. The room was basic and clean, though the red dirt had stained tiles that made it look dirty. I would have liked to open a window in stead of the door for fresh air and for a bit more light in the bedroom instead of turning a light on in the middle of the day as the windows was blacked out due to the shift workers that stay periodically. There is a in house restaurant, "Seasons Steakhouse," which we found quite enjoyable and the food was delicious. My 4-night stay was enjoyable and pleasant.

Cons:

Not being able to open a screened window for fresh air instead of having the door opened, letting bugs in. The power point was hanging out of the wall, and I didn't feel safe using it. A squeaky fan vent in the bathroom sounded like a hamster running on a wheel when we turned the light on.

Pros:

We stayed for one night in room no. 505 in late June.
The room was clean and very basic. It looked old but okay.
The wi-fi was very good and the included breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of hot food, cereals, drinks, fruits , yoghurts, cake and cookies.

Cons:

There were a lot of mosquitoes getting in from the vent or somewhere in the bathroom.

Cons:

The room was comfortable overall, but it didn’t have blackout curtains, so quite a bit of light came in early in the morning. This made it harder to sleep in, and blackout curtains would make a big improvement.

Great place to stay in Newman.
Pros:

Clean and tidy, main facilities updated. Rooms still a little dated but comfortable and have everything you need! The gated parking was appreciated as we travel with work equipment.

Fenced in a compound that must of had a reason.
Breakfast was plentiful but not great tasting and not hot like it should have been
