This was not cheap accommodation, and in comparison to others options was sub par. Disappointed
Pros:

The location was amazing, although to be fair Arrowtown is small enough that you could stay in several accommodation options and still be a few minutes walk from where you want to be

Cons:

There was NO kitchen sink. We were told to use the bathroom sink to wash our dishes - YUCK!!!! Or we had the option to try and track down the cleaner at 7am to ask for new cups, glasses etc
The staff were completely uninterested in the accommodation customers

Arrowtown
Pros:

Great for an over night stay. Ideal location on the main street. Easy access to everything 👌 Great food 😋

Cons:

Parking was free which was great but long term parking was only available in the main Arrowtown carpark not outside hotel, which was not made clear when booking. There was no hand-wash available in the room and only 1 sachet of body wash and shampoo per person . At least 2 each would have been ideal. The emergancy volunteers siren went off during the night which was very unerving as we had no clue what it indicated. Apparently this is the norm in country areas so perhaps a mention in the hotel info in the room would be a good idea 💡

Pros:

Convenient location, great staff, especially the cleaning team.

Cons:

Carpets were dirty, I understand i was in a room that was due to be renovated but a carpet clean in the interim should be done.

Pros:

Excellent convenient position in the centre of town, perfect for walking. Very helpful staff, assisting with luggage. Lovely view of trees and river. From Room 2. Great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant

Poorly maintained, mould in bathroom, hole in sheets, stained and worn flooring. Does not match the photos

Comfortable but could use some updating
Pros:

It is clean & comfortable, bed and pillows were great. Good access to the Main Street but still quiet.

Cons:

The only power points were behind the tv and behind the bedhead, and none in the bathroom for the hairdryer…. WiFi didn’t work in the room
