There was the restaurant downstairs if I wanted to get some food. It was near the lake so I got to go down for a walk/jog by the lake. The bathroom is relatively new and clean as well. There was enough space to move around in the room for 1 person.
It has most things, if you are not a fan of stairs, there is a flight of stairs you need to go up to get into but I knew this before I booked it. I also wanted some random paper to write on but there was no note pad. Just little things like that nothing crazy.
I think the other thing is be prepared it can get noisy because you are near the main street where the lake is. So lots of cars and trucks drive by. So sleep may be disturbed in the early morning.

Need more power options at bed head
I decided NOT to stay at this property due to an unusual request from the staff. While I understand that providing identification and a credit card is standard practice, I was asked to provide the CVV of my credit card, as they stated they do not have an EFTPOS machine, is that real?
This raised serious concerns, as I have never been asked to disclose my CVV when checking into a motel or hotel.
I suggested an alternative arrangement, such as providing a cash deposit for the night; however, this was declined by the manager, there was no mention of the value of the deposit.
I chose to return home rather than risk exposing my credit card details. I was also informed that NO REFUND WOULD BE PROVIDED.
For clarity, providing a credit card and CVV directly to staff for manual entry, rather than using an EFTPOS machine, significantly increases the risk of financial fraud and identity theft. In face-to-face transactions, there should be no need to disclose a CVV, as payments are typically processed via chip, tap, or swipe on a secure terminal.
