A room in the main part of the barracks may be different.

Cons:

Garden room too small. No room to put your suitcases. Bed was comfortable and clean but only a small double bed. Laundered hotel sheets would be nicer. Carpet was very old.

The cozy atmosphere was wonderful. It was like being in familiar surroundings. Terry, the owner, was also incredibly accommodating with getting us checked in early.

Tiles loose in the entry. Gaps in the tiling around the spa bath. Bathroom light didn’t work.

Great value for money & close to amenities.
Pros:

It was cheap & convenient when you just need somewhere to sleep.

Cons:

Didn’t realise how low the ceilings were upstairs my husband is tall. Can hear everybody else at all hours. Someone was definitely smoking something they shouldn’t have been & it was very pungent in our room at times.
