Amazing staff, great location but the room was in really rough condition
Pros:

Genuinely some of the nicest staff, they were super polite, kind and accommodating. The hotel was within a good distance to the event I was attending as well as perfect distance from the beach. There were some nice little cafes and breakfast places and fairly easy access to the tram network too

Cons:

There was no staff on reception at 2pm when we checked in so we had to use a lock box to get in. The room definitely needed maintenance too, there was handles and things already broken when I arrived. On top of that the floor was fairly dirty on arrival too. One of the pillow cases looked to have blood or lipstick on it which made me quite uncomfortable. Everything in the room felt very old, the room I had felt like a motel rather than a hotel. I could have stayed at a larger chain hotel for the same price per night and not had these issues

Close to the beach
Pros:

The apartment is very close to the beach, easy walking distance! Close to bus stops and 20min walk to surfers paradise main boulevard.

Cons:

The room was dusty and the pool receives almost no sunshine.

Cons:

Never saw any staff , no water pressure and apartment was ok, sofa kept on moving and wouldn't click shut properly and very uncomfortable to sit on . Apartment would benefit from new shower head and cleaning such as vacuum or broom

Pros:

Great location in hub of dining precinct. Located close to event location / meetings for my trip.

Cons:

Charging $5 extra for a pool towel is over the top. Manchester should be included/absorbed in accommodation fee as a beach or pool towel is not something that a business traveller generally packs in their luggage.

Great location , generally clean and well appointed
Cons:

Dirty towels left behind 2nd bedroom door. Really old worn towels with holes in 2nd bedroom. Vertical blinds broken, window in 2nd bedroom didn’t close.

Everything especially the staff and the cleanliness of property. Its location was alos very good as it was close to many various transport stops like busses and light rail, it was also close to the beach.

We loved our stay :-)
Pros:

A family of five (5), we stayed in a 2BR on the Ground Floor. The unit had everything we needed ... clean and spacious apartment, the kitchen was fully-equipped, beds were comfy, there was a washing machine and dryer. There is underground, secure parking. The kids (15, 13, and 10) loved the pool and the jacuzzi.

Perfect location!! The apartment building is less than 100 m from the beach. The Pacific Fair Shopping Centre is a short drive away. The Esplanade is also a short drive / good walk away. Sea World is within a 20-minute drive.

We were impressed that there was a beach umbrella, and 2 x outdoor folding chairs in our apartment :-) ... we used the folding chairs at the beach. Toni, was a great host ... she was warm, pleasant and friendly. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Gold Coast.
