Reception on arrival was excellent and things control be first rate.
Pros:

We only stayed one night but it’s my new favourite place to stay in Launceston.
Pros:

Beautiful spacious room with lovely high ceiling. Bed was very comfortable. Had a delightful, historic charm. Would definitely stay there again.

Comfy, quiet stay in a lovely room.
Pros:

Free parking outside hotel which felt secure as we arrived late at night in dark. Didn't meet any staff but check in was easy and clear details were sent beforehand.
Comfy large room, would recommend and stay again :)

Large room with comfortable bed and huge bathroom . Staff were friendly and approachable Very comfortable room in a lovely older hotel . Would have liked to have stayed another night

Pros:

Very comfortable room and excellent heating throughout..lots of space in the 3 bedroom apartment. Kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher and oven. Also handy to have the washing machine and dryer! Close to the park and short walk to town centre. Buses were free and close by as well.

Cons:

Climbing up the big hill, but we got lots of exercise!

A quiet stay.
Pros:

Spacious room. Modern clean bathroom with light heater. The room was equipped to be warm.

Cons:

The door to the main building was kept open during the day which brought in a cold draft to my room. Good thing I had a door snake

A fantastic place to stay in Launceston
Pros:

Dare I say everything, the place is beautiful, within walking distance to a lot of places around Launceston

Cons:

Only thing I can say is that our door didn’t really lock properly, and the window wouldn’t stay open. But that’s really me just nitpicking, other than that it was amazing

Pros:

We have stayed there previously. Beautiful place, great location and lovely rooms. The two bedroom apartment was huge with great facilities. Would stay there again and recommend to friends.

Cons:

Just the instructions on how to turn the stove top on. Didn't realise there was switch on the side that was required to activate stovetop.

This property is absolutely beautiful.
Very clean and we had a room with a lovely view. Lady on reception was lovely.

Cons:

Just be aware - no lift so you have to carry bags upstairs.

The climb up the stairs is worth the reward at this excellent accomodation
Pros:

Waratah on York is what I would imagine an old style motor house or Bed and Breakfast to be. The room was warm and large with high ceilings and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was huge and a bath was very welcomed at the end of a day with lots of walking the hills of Launceston.

If you don't like stairs then that may be an issue but once there the room makes your forget quickly the climb up.
Check in was easy and the staff member welcomed us and gave us the rundown of the town and places to see.

Would definitely stay here again
