The size of the apartment and facilities, also the style and decor
The lamp in the lounge didn't work
I knew this accommodation would be lovely but I wasn't expecting the smaller, more considered touches in the bathroom and the room decor. The room was already heated on our arrival and was spacious and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful. It's only a short walk to great restaurants and bars and other sights in town. My only wish is that we were staying longer.
The most roomy and comfortable place we've stayed. We did have the King Suite with bath, I believe the largest room.
Given the room had thick amazing block out curtains I was so disappointed that the bright hallway lights stayed on all night and our door didn't meet the frame so I was very conscious of light filtering thru all night as the bed is close to the door. I am a light sleeper.
Owners just need to put a strip of timber down edge. Could not fault the room otherwise but that was a very disappointing fault given I love a total blackout room! Alternative have the hallway lights on a sensor so they only come on as people come home to their room
Room was perfect for what we needed. Large and well proportioned. Slept Well. Was able to access the room early which was much appreciated.
The bathroom toilet hadn't been cleaned which wasn't so great.
Loved the aesthetics and bed was quite comfortable, bathroom was clean and spacious. Service upon checking in was lovely. Nice walk into the city centre whilst being able to use outskirts roads to get to the hotel which for me not travelling into Launceston and knowing the roads was super helpful.
The apartment was stunning. So very roomy and met all our needs
Lovely large and spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Welcoming host; onsite parking; great location, a short walk from restaurants and pubs.
friendly reception and easy check in
beautiful building and decor. great room.
comfortable clean elegant carpeted and well appointed. sizeable modern bathroom
limited tv stations
Felt safe. Quiet and secure. Great communication by staff.
Plunger coffee pot with locally ground coffee would be a nice upgrade from the instant satchels.
Very nice, friendly customer service when I arrived. Beautiful old house even though some development has occurred in front which blocked the views from my room on the Ground floor.
Bright lights outside in the carpark - the curtains didn't really block out the light enough for me, as I am a bit sensitive to light at night.
Love the room, decor - heritage feel. Location. View
Would love the option of a mini bar. Not much amenities to choose from VERY basic. No biscuits, no hot chocolate - basic coffee and tea.
Everything
A very beautiful grand building from 1863 adapted elegantly for modern living. We loved our stay in a large and gorgeous room.
Very pleasant stay from start to finish. The check-in process was warm and friendly, making us feel welcome straight away. The room was comfortable and relaxing, with an incredibly comfy bed and a lovely large bath that was perfect after a long day.
The standout for us was the stunning outlook from the balcony room; such a beautiful view and a lovely space to unwind. Everything felt clean, cosy, and well looked after. Would definitely recommend to others and would happily stay again.
Lovely old building that’s been beautifully maintained.
Great spot. If I have to find a negative it would be… because we were on ground floor, the windows are frosted for privacy (thank you), but that means there is no view of lovely Launnie.
Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful, cosy rooms.
Beautiful building. Rooms great size
