Very basic
Bathroom was very small
Breakfast options
The Facilities were clean. The bed was lovely and comfortable It was a nice quiet area and we really liked our free breakfast. All staff were lovely.
I have a heavily bandaged foot and had to wear a plastic bag over it, there was no shower mat so I was unable to have a shower just in case I slipped. We had bought a take away in Port Augusta for dinner, there were no knives, forks, plates or dishes for us to heat in up in the microwave with, we were lucky to have a free breakfast because I had our breakfast packed and we wouldn't have been able to have our toast and cereal with no utensils and dishes to eat with. I'm not sure what the microwave was there for.I also spilt water all over the desk and there were not any cloths there to wipe it up so I used a singlet. It was the first motel I've been in that never had plates cutlery and a toaster. I was very disappointed. Especially when we couldn't heat up out dinner as it was in alfoil containers. Ap[art from that all was okay
Comfort and clean
Breakfast was a bonus but what I liked was having TV news during breakfast. Also liked the easy check out leaving my key at breakfast. Free laundry room. The TV in the room was great and had a compatible browser for streaming. Good fridge and having a microwave was very convenient. Liked the generous size bin in the room and good towels. Near the shopping centre and petrol station.
Took me a while to see where the power point was at the bedside (bottom shelf) and no plates in the room. The windows sort of rattle when closing the door so got to be gentle!
Across the road from the hotel so quieter than other hotel accomodation located on hotel grounds.
Receptionist that checked us in was super friendly.
Too much light came into room through curtains as soon as sun came up. Also too bright in room during the night due to outside lighting that was on constantly.
Room came with a microwave but no plates or cutlery to eat with.
Clean tidy and convenient
Mattress and pillows very uncomfortable
The spa after a long day at work at the Whyalla show
Nice big room comfortable bed
I didn't like how I was treated by the woman who checked me out. I had to leave before reception hours. I rang the number on door and was met with attitude and rolling eyes. Was a sour end to a otherwise nice stay.
Staff at breakfast were lovely, great breakfast option too
Some Ashtrays around would be good
Felt very welcomed by staff and enjoyed our stay
