Would recommend for anyone looking for an affordable and pretty bang for your buck stay
Pros:

Glad they had food menus and everything was easy to navigate, unfortunately I wasn't there for long enough to fully explore everything but, the stay was very good and everything was done quickly and fairly professionally.

Cons:

The bed was definitely softer than anticipated and the soft carpet in the halls made suitcase travel a bit tedious for my particular circumstance, other than that no complaints!

Not value for money
Pros:

Very dated property with a very soft uncomfortable bed. Advertised as a four star hotel which it most definitely is not.

Cons:

They were one of the only hotels with availability when our flight to Dubai was cancelled due to the Middle East crisis - in hindsight would rather have stayed at the airport and saved the money

A lovely clean hotel (shower was fantastic!!)
Pros:

We chose the Colmslie due to it's closeness to where my son lived in Brisbane and for this it was perfect, I'm not sure it would be as suitable for travellers wishing to see the sights of Brisbane unless they had a car.

Fine but thd failure to return my 2 deposits is a sticking point.
Pros:

Proximity to city
Lovely staff

Cons:

No balconies
No bathtub
No complimentary breakfast at all in two weeks
No water in the room on arrival

Problem- despite two phone calls and one complaint I am still waiting for the return of two $100 deposits ( ( I booked original stay online then extended my stay at the front desk)

Royal Edinburgh Tattoo accommodation
Pros:

Location is great allowing access to many things we required. Rooms are big allowing persons with mobility issues to move freely. The place was clean and the staff very helpful.
