Great location, not closed in my high rise , close to transport. Space to relax
Pros:

Sort walk to south Brusbane station and Harris markets, less than half an hour walk to west end markets. Spacious, hard floors, good shower, comfy bed. Clean

Cons:

Touch up Patches on wall paintwork, handbasin tap leaked, the flyscreen to balcony didn’t lock but that was ok on 2nd floor

Hot water not included!
Pros:

Not 4 star by any means. Checked in and went to have a shower and there was literally no hot water at all. Was told by reception various excuses as to why, none of which seemed valid. "The kids here use all the hot water", "We have solar panels and its cloudy today." Was literally told to boil the jug and use the bath instead, and he left the room with no resolution or offer of help, transfer, refund.

I had just had a gum surgery and needed to stay in brisbane for 4 days, so I went back to reception to inform them that this was not acceptable. They then offered a refund and when I accepted they tried to get me to change my mind by offering a room upgrade instead. Despite us asking prior to this if any other rooms were different for hot water, could we get a different room, and they said no?!
They gave the refund after we insisted and reminded them that they offered, but even the receptionist couldn't manage a sorry or a goodbye in the end. Never again. Place is tired and rundown also, definately not 4 star.
Managed to find a better hotel down the road for the 4 nights and saved $200 in the process.
Thanks for complicating an already difficult surgery. Never again!

Convenient base for exploration
Pros:

Convenient location for exploring South Bank. Walking distance to lots of food options. Clean, comfortable & secure. One free parking bay was appreciated. Pool looked lovely but it was too.cold to use it.

Cons:

Building was 2 storey with no lift access to the first floor,so we lugged our heavy bags up and down the stairs.

Pros:

Excellent location , close to restaurants bars , trains , the river. Beds were comfortable. The area is quiet at night and I didnt get woken up by strange noises etc. Brisbane is a great place for a weekend . Id recommend a bike ride or we did a segway guided tour which was excellent

Amazing just didn’t enjoy the stairs after already doing lots of walking

Close to Southbank and the city. Amazing view at night

The stairs as there is no lift had to carry our bags up a lot of floors to get to our room, for my mother who is in her late 60s the struggle was real.

Attention to detail with cleaning. Overall it was fine but the hub around the shower needed a good scrub.
