Mediocre room and service but nice staff
Pros:

Very quiet at night. Car was safe. Dining room staff very good. Short walk to breakfast shops. Seemed safe; no loud drunks at night; nice dining view

Cons:

Toilet trickled all night. 4 nights with backyard view; bay and mt Wellington on other sider; no breakfast; defective mattress; primitive window; shower was delapidated; hotel front door worked only at night; no daily room service; sink shelf too low; not a lot changed in 58 years

The staff is amazing. Always so friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The location was a bit far from Hobart for me because I don't have a car. But Lindisfarne is quite lovely and I had everything I needed within walking distance.

Price was cheap

Cons:

Wrong type of room was provided and had to wait for it to get corrected which took almost 30 minutes. Beds were lumpy and uncomfortable and windows didn't seal completely. Portions of the meals were very small for the price charged.

Pros:

Clean room, comfortable beds, easy access to shared kitchen and laundry. WiFi connection was great, housekeeping staff (particularly Donna) were helpful and the price was extremely competitive 👍👍

Cons:

No major problems - we had a great week!

The view and the staff. Room was clean and tidy.. Good value.

Cons:

Not having meals there because of Reno's. Rooms could do with a small microwave to heat drinks and warm meals. And add a single comfy chair so not having to sit on the bed

Disappointing stay
Pros:

Staff were friendly and it was easy to check in at the bar.

Cons:

Didn’t get the room that we booked. Booked an apartment ended up in a small room that had a double and single bed. We found it squishy trying to fit two people and luggage. I don’t think you could fit three people. The room had two sinks but no toaster and microwave. The bathroom was quite tired and there were long black hairs on the sink and across the shower base. The blind on the window sat far out from the wall so the street lights shone straight into our room. The room did not have an odour but the hallway had a strong smell of beer and cigarettes. Would not stay here again or recommend.
