Nice Hotel in a historical part of Hobart
Pros:

The Prince of Wales Hotel is centrally located in Battery Point. There is plenty of history with many houses & cottages as well as businesses which have been renovated to their past glory.
The restaurant at the hotel offers 20% off meal prices if you’re staying there with quality meals on the menu.

Cons:

Rooms are well appointed but the bathroom is tiny ( no room for toiletries as there isn’t a vanity unit- just a sink as well as shower & toilet)

A comfortable stay in a fantastic location.
Pros:

Fantastic location, with the beautiful and scenic Battery Point right at your doorstep, along with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. It’s an easy walk down to the pier and Salamanca Markets, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. The room was clean, comfortable and cosy. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Cons:

The bathroom was a little bit of a squeeze, but otherwise a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Pros:

The room and the amenities were very comfortable.

Highly recommend!
Pros:

Location was perfect. Loved that we overlooked the bakery across the road “Jackman & McRoss” and then we would walk down very pretty Kelly St , down to the Salamanca Markets.
Room & bed was lovely and comfortable. Shower was beautiful! Staff were fantastic.

Pros:

Excellent location, parking on site is a bonus. Lots of food options in the area. Walkable to Salamanca. Although its above the Pub, you dont hear it much, probably not at all. Great room and view.

Cons:

During steak night, we can smell the fumes from kitchen to our room, cant smell it outside or hallway. The airconditioning unit have a display that filter needs changing. Otherwise, everything was all good, and definitely come back again.
For those with mobility issues, please bear in mind there are stairs only.
