We loved the comfort, staff, food, cleanliness and modern amenities in the hotel

The hotel and staff were lovely! The attached restaurant had the most delicious food. It was a very memorable experience.

Great location, very comfortable rooms, free parking and excellent value.
Pros:

POW has undergone an excellent renovation, so the rooms are very comfortable. Pricing is very competitive and location is excellent. Highly recommend staying at the POW in Hobart.

Nothing - all good.

Great location, comfortable rooms and awesome bar staff!
Pros:

Loved the location, the room, the staff downstairs were fantastic! Bathroom products fantastic when replaced.

Cons:

The room servicing each day is non existent. Really bad and only got partially serviced first morning as I seen the cleaner and needed some of the products in the bathroom replaced. If this was done, I would have scored everything as excellent.

Very comfy, great location
Pros:

Great little hotel in a lovely neighbourhood just a short walk from the weekend market. Bed was super soft & we got upgraded to the 2-bedroom ‘room’ with separate lounge and a patio which was a nice surprise 🙂

Cons:

The bathroom could use a proper exhaust fan and maybe some larger coffee mugs in the kitchen but really not a big deal

Best location, clean and comfortable hotel at good prices
Pros:

Staff were excellent, especially Saul who was just so helpful. Though the hotel is fairly unattractive architecturally, the rooms were all renovated and very nice.

Dining room has a lovely menu and really big serves, happy hour every day, and a live band for the Sunday session. No breakfast as there is a famous bakery/cafe right opposite and others very close by.

Also it’s very quiet which is important to me as I’m a poor sleeper.

Cons:

no blankets unfortunately, only doonas but there is a little throw on the bed which was enough anyway.

Surprisingly lovely stay despite being above a pub!
Pros:

Great location, beautiful hotel room, comfy large bed, we were sceptical when it was above a pub but very pleasantly surprised by lack of noise from the pub. So many great food options right at our doorstop

Cons:

Noise from other rooms + corridor was very audible
