From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. For reservations made by a third party, you will need to complete an authorization form and present a copy of the person's ID and credit card.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Clean and well presented near to local shops and restaurants.
A little too far to walk to town.
We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights in a Deluxe Triple Room.
The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. There were plenty of parking spaces around the hotel too. Just be careful when parking under the trees because your car might get bird poop on it.
The hotel has two lifts, but both were quite slow.
The room was VERY spacious! The hotel also provided basic amenities such as toothbrushes, shower caps, shower gel, shampoo, slippers, tea and coffee.
The water pressure was really good. VERY good!
The air conditioning was good too. Whenever we adjusted the temperature, it didn't take long for the room to reach the temperature we wanted.
As for breakfast, it was just so-so. Not very delicious, but not terrible either. There weren't many choices, so we had breakfast at the hotel on the first day and decided to eat outside on the second day.
Other than the breakfast, everything was great! The spacious room, helpful staff, good water pressure and air conditioning made our stay comfortable.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. 10/10

= Recommend to park at back of hotel; easier to park and short walk only
+ Friendly & attentive staffs
+ Hallways have a lot of real plants that are being taken care of, very quaint
+ Room is bright enough
= Could be brighter, but compared to other Melakan boutique hotels, this is sufficiently bright
+ I like the TV channels
= They have something like Astro; a channel for kids, news, nature, movies, chinese, malay, etc. Not just the national TV satellite. I appreciate the well chosen variety.
+ Many local restaurants within 10 mins drive
= Compared to near Jonker, where driving is always jam and stressful. Here is normal and easy to find parking
+ Simple breakfast
+ Slept comfortably
- Hotel's private parking spaces are limited
= There are plenty of public parking along the same street, but need walk longer
- Floor could be cleaner
= Main areas are clean, but if your foot happen to step near the underside of the bed like when folding clothes, foot will be black. They provide disposable floor slippers, so not a big issue personally
- Old TV
= Personally, I don't mind. Picture is pixely, but nothing to fuss about
- Aircond take time + Room traps heat
= Aircond takes longer time than usual to cool down room to comfortable temperature, probably because the room also trapped a lot of heat. At least, by sleeping time the room is cooled and can sleep comfortably
- Simple breakfast
Nice room for solo travel, breakfast simple but delicious.
