Pros:

Property has been updated, good range of meals on the menu. Very helpful staff. Excellent place to stay and relax. Great walks . Plenty of local shops to support the local area. Will visit again soon.

Comfortable and convenient.
Pros:

Comfortable and convenient location, close to everything you need including a supermarket, bakery, parks and cafes as well as other stores. Extremely convenient being above a hotel, you can walk downstairs for a drink or dinner as well as the gaming room. The rooms had an outdoor area to sit.
Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows with spares in the wardrobe also two fluffy rugs in the wardrobe. Electric blankets on the beds for extra warmth. Aircon/heater that provided extra comfort.

Cons:

Nothing was an issue, would have been great if there was a sink to be able to wash our dishes so they weren’t left for staff and being able to fill the kettle with water from a tap. There are rooms available with kitchens but a sink in the basic would have been amazing.

The room was amazing, clean and the beds were comfortable.

Cons:

No hot water just luke warm water.
When the hotel patrons left the pub and started fighting right below the room and woke everyone up.

Awesome pub with great service.
Pros:

A fantastic country pub with great food and amazing friendly staff. The room was great for one night stay.We enjoyed a meal at the pub too. We used the The pass to get further discount as first use. Thoroughly appreciated the continental breakfast you provide.

A good stopover or base for Strathalbyn
Pros:

It had everything we needed for an overnight stopover. The room was large,clean,and comfortable.
I breakfast pack was a nice surprise.

Cons:

Nothing , there is limited parking but we scored some so excellent.

Bathroom needed an update, but it was fine for our one night stay.

Pros:

Beautiful old pub! Very deceiving from the front. Dinner was nice. Nicely decorated room. If you want to use the spa put water on & go have dinner !! Very low pressure so didn't bother. Overall for the money it was good value!
