Extremely noisy. Showers had no hot water and hot water tap even came off the wall!
No breakfast. We left and the staff were not onsite
The location is abysmal- there is no place to park so that Ubers had to climb the pavement to park so we could get into the car and put in our baggage. The road is a main road and incredibly busy with one uber parking opposite the hotel expecting us to cross a busy road. Highly unsatisfactory.

I was after a basic but clean room with ensuite in this particular location and it delivered. Ear plugs were provided but the noise didn’t bother me.

Tasteful decor for an old building. Inside nice feel and comfortable stay. Good value.
The location is tricky, situated on a really busy junction, very noisy outside, inside it could affect your stay, if a heavy sleeper your good. A quieter room was accommodated and really made a difference. Outside doesn’t look great. Would recommend if you need taxi order to meet at a nearby street. Door card make sure you put in the holder and have to get the right angle. Didn’t realise for a few hours so couldn’t work AC and lights, worked it out in the end. If you want value, clean place you can’t go wrong. Staff friendly and helpful and nice ambiance inside.
The Hotel was well connected to public transport. Both train and bus were accessible.
The constant noise, from what I can only guess was the water pipes in the walls every time someone used a tap, shower or toilet, made it difficult to sleep. This must be a recurring problem as there were ear plugs provided in the room. Not sure if this is a fixable problem. Maybe it should be reflected in the room rates.

Ground floor rooms are an advantage for travellers with large/ heavy bags
