The Formby Hotel is home of the popular Central Bar and Restaurant – the bar is open with live music or DJs Friday & Saturday nights until 11pm and some rooms will be affected by noise from this on these evenings.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Amazing veiws
Pros:

You can see a veiw of the spirit of tasmania out your window. Windows are very big

Pros:

Location, the view, modern room and clean. Great size tv the common room to cook food if needed. The size of the room for family was great.

Cons:

Shower being gas goes hot cold easy and would be nice if had hose type to wash the children. Parking was a slight problem.

great sized room equipped with toaster kettle iron hairdryer fridge coffee cookies towels and private bathroom

Cons:

unfortunately our door moved/rattled everytime someone walked past in the hallway or the room accross hall opened their door and pillows were very thin

Pros:

Place to lay your head. Cheap enough and clean enough. Can see the spirit of Tasmania out the window of our room.

Cons:

Heatpump stunk, deffinatly needs a good service/clean. Same with the carpet but get what you pay for.
Had kettle and toaster, cups, spoons etc. mini fridge that had milk - but no tea/coffee/sugar to use with. That sucked 😕 thanks for the cookies though.

I would recommend to work colleagues
Pros:

Parking available on site was a bonus. Restaurant downstairs was convenient and nice food. Wifi was great and easy to access.

Great spot cool pub, or second time staying there
Pros:

Great location and fun staying at a pub with full communal kitchen if you don’t want to go out for meals and fun watching the spirit of Tasmania come and go

Cons:

Too many stairs for us oldies haha to carry luggage
