The location and proximity to the town, beach and eating places is great. The room had a lovely view of the ocean.

Cons:

My Husband is in a wheelchair and I also have mobility issues so my review is from a disability perspective and to provide upward feedback. This property is located on a hillside making walking anywhere outside the building challenging. Parking is first in best dressed so if you miss out there is a carpark across the road located on the hillside. This happened to me and I really struggled. Most high rise properties I stay at have a trolley to assist with luggage to the room. A trolley would have made check in and out so much easier saving me multiple trips to and from the car. The property has great laundry facilities however the hours are only 8am to 5pm so when you are out all day as we were, that was an issue, I needed laundry facilities. I found the daily text messages telling me the don'ts of the building very unwelcoming. The rules are well explained on arrival and in the room. Once settled in the room moving around the building and building carpark was fine.

This has to be the worst hotel room I've ever stayed in. After we made the booking I received a message saying that the room we had booked was unrenovated and could ungrade to renovated room for an extra cost. We decided to go with the original room, what a big mistake, not only was this unrenovated it was disgustingly dirty. We found empty alcohol bottles in the wardrobe and bathroom, there was mould and rust in the bathroom and the floors was filthy.
There was only 2 lights in the lounge kitchen both on the walls no bedside lights holes in the wall a tv that couldn't be turned off with the remote you had to pull the plug.
Don't stay here, Yeppoon should be ashamed to have this available to the public and at over $200 a night.

Loud room, glass door doesent shut properly, mould growing In the shower, very uncomfortable bed, aircon didn’t work, verry untidy, the list goes on
