Een jungle sprookje
Pros:

Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen bij Adiwana Dara Ayu Villas hebben we onze ogen uitgekeken. Het begon met de avontuurlijke tocht naar de villa en vervolgens naar het restaurant. Superleuk! Wat een ongelofelijk prachtige tuin. Het hele gebied is geweldig, veel flora en fauna, je kan er heerlijk wandelen. Het is er rustig. En je zit midden in het jungle bos, een sprookje. We vinden dat de kamers/villas goed zijn onderhouden, zeker gezien de omstandigheden van het jungle bos. De luchtvochtigheid is er heel hoog en dat merk je. Ondanks dat is het verblijf schoon. Het personeel werkte ontzettend hard om te voldoen aan onze wensen en ze hebben dit overtroffen. Ze zijn ontzettend behulpzaam, met het doen van boodschappen en het dragen van de koffers. We wilden een verblijf dicht bij de natuur en dit heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen. Oja niet te vergeten het geweldige goed onderhouden zwembad en heerlijke massage en scrub in de spa. We raden een verblijf hier zeker aan. Ontzettend bedankt Adiwana Dara Ay voor dit geweldige verblijf! We zijn heerlijk tot rust gekomen!

We kunnen werkelijks niks bedenken wat tegenviel. We begrijpen alle negatieve opmerkingen van andere mensen ook echt niet. Het is hier gewoon geweldig, genieten van de natuur

Beautiful views, kind in-person staff but disappointing experience.

The views and staff were incredible. Sat on top of a hill with flowing rice fields, nestled in a quiet region. A retreat into nature.

Cons:

The in-person staff were wonderful — very kind, polite, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The location is beautiful, and it’s conveniently positioned at roughly 30 minutes to Ubud and 30 minutes to Kintamani, which makes it a good base for exploring.

The biggest issue was the poor service from the online/bookings team. We originally booked a villa, but the room was extremely humid and very noisy, making it difficult to sleep. The available fan was not very fast and was constantly rustling plastic sheeting that had been installed to stop animal droppings which made the room uncomfortable and disruptive at night.

The property is also quite isolated, so there aren’t many food options or general amenities nearby. I’d strongly recommend organising scooter hire and day trips privately, as we found the prices from the villa’s recommended vendors were significantly higher than standard market rates. The access into the area gets very slippery when it rains, be careful.

To their credit, the onsite staff did help move us to another room. However, the replacement room was worth $164 per night, compared to the $264 per night room we had originally booked. Instead of refunding the difference, we were told no. We then asked if the value difference could at least be made up through services (around $200 total), but this was also rejected. The only compensation offered was a spa package worth, at most, around $100.

Overall, there was very little effort made to properly resolve the discomfort and inconvenience caused by the original villa conditions. What should have been a simple and fair solution turned into multiple frustrating conversations that took up a noticeable part of our holiday.

If you stay here, I’d strongly recommend booking one of the rooms with indoor toilets and air conditioning — those will likely give you a much more comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Het is een super mooie locatie!!! Echt heel erg mooi

De ligging is best ver van alle bezienswaardigheden die men op Bali wil en kan bezoeken.
Taxi is bijna niet te krijgen.
Gelukkig hebben ze een eigen busje rijden,dat lost veel op!!

Disaster, we didn’t even stay the night. We checked out within 1 hour.
Pros:

Nothing, this property is a scam, do not book! It looks nothing like the pictures at all! The staff are extremely rude. The property needs to either update their pictures and pricing or booking.com needs to delist them!

Cons:

No security checks at check in, the rooms were dirty, stained bedlinen, no AC, not as advertised. Food menu made on word art? We tried to get a refund though booking.com as the property was not as advertised but they didn’t help.
