The restaurant was fantastic, unlike the hotel. The staff in the restaurant were friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. I want to give a special shoutout to Johnny, who was an amazing waiter.
Sadly, the awesome performance by the restaurant was completely overshadowed by the filth of the hotel and no internet.
When I was booking the room I had the option of booking the room or booking with high speed internet. I paid the extra and booked with high speed internet. Sadly, the internet was intermittent at best and impossible to do any work on. The hotel is also a dead zone for mobile data.
The mattresses in our room were shredded and filthy filthy dirty.
The cleaning staff would come super early in the morning to clean the room and if we were busy i.e.. in the shower, they simply didn't come back the rest of the day unless we went out and actively made them do so.
The TV had no TV channels and only YouTube. However, with no internet we could not use even YouTube.
When I tried to talk to the front desk about these issues their only advice was to take it up with booking.com as the mattresses and the no internet were the fault of booking.com. They refused to rectify the situation.

Location good close to city amenities. Staff were helpful and friendly.
No complimentary coffee or tea in the room though there was a hot water kettle. Beds were uncomfortable. Breakfast was poor.
The windows were so dirty you couldn't see out of them and the rooms were so noisy with traffic hard to get any sleep even though we changed rooms with the same problem.
The shower was always cold, no hot water.
First night was a nightmare...we were there to relax but the staff trying to fix the horrible internet connection knocked out the electric and we had to insure screaming kids on the staff',s phone half the night as they tried to fix the electric. For both nights virtually no internet

The only good part was the retaurant staff.They were excelent as well as the food
The staff was were not very good. Check in was a nightmare. The hotel was having issues with power and internet but the staff was more focused on their makeup than making sure the guest that were waiting were comfortable and taken care of. I used to give high praise to this hotel as I have stayed many times there. But the last two stays have been horrible as far as service. The rooms are were only low to standard. Not above as in previous stays. Within one hours time around midnight. I had to change rooms twice due to isssues with the room

A hotel without wow factor
Bookings.com said they have tea and coffee facilities in the description but that’s not true
So I had to pay for a upgrade to the larger room for 25 euros per day
Breakfast was ordinary no choices
The breakfast room looks like a staff canteen and the only highlight was the male waiter who was excellent a true professional hospitality worker

It was a nice experience. The staff (Jethro), the one who ushered us to check the room was very accommodating. A quiet place to rest and very spacious which I really loved. The food is nice . Sure to book when I'm in dumaguete.
Place always has parking (in our case). Hotel location is superb when you want to go anywhere around city main.
We booked 13 rooms. Some rooms did not have hot water. Some rooms smelled like strong bleach and some room's toilets where in an awkward place (like center of the restroom, not resting on one side). Bidets were at the left.
The hotel like a lot of hotels in the Philippines could do with a little upgrading but I would stay there again without fail if I was going to Dumaguete the staff were excellent and attentive from check in to check out nothing was a problem everything was perfect. Thank you.
