Pros:

Place always has parking (in our case). Hotel location is superb when you want to go anywhere around city main.

Cons:

We booked 13 rooms. Some rooms did not have hot water. Some rooms smelled like strong bleach and some room's toilets where in an awkward place (like center of the restroom, not resting on one side). Bidets were at the left.

Best hotel in Dumaguete
Pros:

The hotel like a lot of hotels in the Philippines could do with a little upgrading but I would stay there again without fail if I was going to Dumaguete the staff were excellent and attentive from check in to check out nothing was a problem everything was perfect. Thank you.

Essencia Hotel in Dumaguete: Solid Value for Money
Pros:

Essencia has everything I need when visiting Dumaguete. It's a dated hotel, but that's what makes it special. Breakfast is legit and the location is near Lee Market and other restaurants. The room televisions are equipped with YouTube and other popular streaming platforms. Comfortable beds and hot shower is a plus. Professional staff and easy check-in and out.

Cons:

There's a certain amount of traffic noise that should be expected, but it's not that big of a deal.

Essencia Best Value in Dumaguete
Pros:

Hotel Essencia always delivers. An easy ride from the port, the hotel has ample parking, a professional staff, and that breakfast is worth every penny. Sure, it's a dated hotel, but that is what makes Essencia special.
