Convenient location, great value for money. We Like how it’s been renovated to suit the rest of the property. Loved what the restaurant had to offer on the menu but unfortunately they were out of the things we were wanting to order that night. We do look forward to coming back to experience what the restaurant has to offer again. Comfortable beds too which is always a bonus.

The communication with hotel was excellent, we arrived after hours & they left clear instructions to access hotel. Room was spacious with comfortable beds. Very friendly & helpful staff.
Very comfortable for a short stay. Microwave and basic plates and cutlery was sufficient. Very clean. Bathroom looked like it had been recently refreshed. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the Quay.
Room was very small. Not much room to move around, but was sufficient for a short stay.
We booked at the Metropolitan because it was close and convenient to catch the Greyhound Bus to Airlie Beach early in the morning

Perfect for a one night stopover on our way north. Rooms are behind a bar which had good food at reasonable prices.
Check is a bit weird, literally at the bar.
The renovations to the rooms were fantastic it made it very comfortable
The cleaners were terrible the sheet were never changed across the 4 day stay and were stained from day one. At no time during the stay was the coffee sugar or soap shampoo was replenished..
The beds were very comfortable and shower has good water pressure. The room seemed to be missing an iron and spoons but we managed. The staff were amazing 👏 🤩. We arrived very late so didn't get a chance to explore or try the restaurant but it all looked exceptional.
