Southern Cross Hotel for an easy overnighter
Pros:

Very comfortable stay in an older style pub room. Room was pretty clean, comfy bed. Tiny bathroom but ok for the night. Good hot showers. There is a little bar fridge too. Free on-site parking at the pub added bonus. Good food at the pub and a bottle shop onsite.

Cons:

Bit noisy if you are a light sleeper as it is located on busy road. Did not really bother me too much.

Very clean and new. Seems to be renovated. Really great that they have free parking and there’s a pub downstairs.

Check in procedure was a bit odd, you do it at the bottle shop
