Central location; reasonably spacious and well lighted room; TAB and restaurant facilties; very reasonable daily tariff; exceptionally friendly and efficient staff; clean multiple shared bathrooms/toilets; extensive outside garden area; micro wave for cooking meals.

We were in the family room ( huge), but the door downstairs kept slamming and shook the wall, till close. Only complaint!

No breakfast facilities but jug in the room to make tea or coffee supplied.
Also, there is a fridge and microwave available off the hallway for guests' convenience.
Plenty of places nearby to get breakfast.
Hot water for showers etc. takes up to 10 minutes to come through so you have to be patient
Let's not forget that it's a very old pub.

The room was exactly as expected of a hotel room, so no complaints. My neighbor insisted on phone calls late at night and the walls are timber so I had to experience the whole conversation. Despite my request for her to stop I was ignored but that's people these days.
