The views from the room are beautiful. It’s quiet and peaceful. The lovely fire and spa bath were great for relaxing i a very good sized room
The room was clean.
Sadly the hot water was only JUST luke warm after multiple attempts to turn on/off, use other taps.
Paid for a Spa room - unable to use.
Shower not able to be used as water was freezing also.
Heater was turned off at 2am as room became quite warm, went to restart heater at 5am, to which it did not turn on (again multiple attempts over an hour).
Advised hotel - if i'm honest they gave me a generic answer back, and minimal apology.

Clean and comfortable room with a great view of Mt Macedon. Fireplace was going for our arrival which was nice. Self check-in was easy. Location is convenient to Macedon and Woodend.

I had a beautiful room with a spa which overlooked the ranges.
Spacious room and bathroom, cosy for a winter stay with all the amenities needed for a short stay.

Extremely disappointing stay and certainly not worth the premium price charged.
The biggest issue was the complete lack of Wi-Fi, which was not disclosed in the property's description. In this day and age, Wi-Fi is considered a basic amenity, and if a property does not offer it, that should be clearly stated before booking.
The property is presented as a hotel, but it operates more like a motel. There is no restaurant, and reception closes at 3 pm, making it very difficult to get assistance outside of those hours.
The furniture throughout the room was tired and worn, and while the room appeared superficially clean, it was clear that the property has not been deep cleaned for some time. The dirty tile grouting was particularly noticeable.
Another major annoyance was the extremely loud bathroom fan, which automatically switched on whenever the light was used. This was disruptive during the night and disturbed anyone trying to sleep.
The television was restricted to free-to-air channels only, and there were no instructions provided on how to operate it.
The only redeeming feature of this property is the fabulous view and the spa. Without it, the experience would have been quite dismal.
Overall, this property is using deceptive marketing, charging premium prices for what is essentially motel-quality accommodation with a spa, view and no Wi-Fi. We left feeling extremely disappointed and would not recommend staying here.
