Lovely historic hotel ideal for an overnight stay close to the beach.
Pros:

Great historic hotel one block from the beach. Large king room on top floor. The room was clean and had all that we needed for our overnight stay. Despite the bar on the ground floor being busy we could not hear any noise once inside the room. Loved the historic features in the hotel.

Cons:

Street parking was a bit difficult to obtain but there is a large parking station 2 min walk from hotel.

Pros:

No breakfast. Location was best. Beds were comfortable.

Cons:

The room wasn't serviced. Perhaps I missed that written somewhere.
New towels were left each day but they were small and thin.

Comfortable and convenient
Pros:

This is our 4th or 5th stay. Excellent location. Quiet and comfortable. Every room has been different and this one we got a lovely balcony.

Cons:

The bathroom in this from was a little dated. We’ve stayed in other rooms that have had bathroom renovated so assume that this one will be done eventually.

Basic, parking a challenge, food and staff- commendable

Staff wonderful, pub food great, location good!

Cons:

Mould in shower, toilet/bathroom door off tracks and wouldn’t shut, mattress so thin we could see and feel ancient inner springs even though we slept on top of doona!
