The location was great. The cafe is only open for a very limited time on weekends. I’d originally thought it would offer me an option for an evening meal so I had to be very organised with food.
The cabin was very tired and I was disappointed in having to make up the bunk beds myself. The linen was extremely tired. There were no insects screens so it was problematic leaving the windows open for fresh air and to help cool the rooms. While fans were provided for both bedrooms, they were not efficient given they were only able to be used on the floor and did not give good circulation.
Toilet and shower block were very clean and refreshing.
Very hot weekend made sleeping a struggle because the rooms were not air-conditioned
Atmosphere
It might not be for everyone with the shared bathroom facilities, but as far as value for money goes it was amazing!
Quiet fire at night and a good bottle of wine.
The lack of reception was a bonus for me.
The place could use some love, but the condition is understandable with only one couple running the whole place. It would be a lot of work.
Everything was great kitchenette bon fire Creek activities for kids and got the kids off there phones
Beds bit hard
The place is very scenic, beautiful and serene.
It was a comfortable stay.

Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it.
Beautiful location nestled among nature
Dated facilities. Very, very unloved. Poorly maintained. Strong smell of dog/animal poop surrounded us for the entire stay.
The location was fantastic, very quiet and relaxing. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
The kitchenette was outside, the cabins could be changed to have the kitchenette inside with a small dining area. The toilets and showers being a separate building, but we knew this before booking.
We loved the peaceful atmosphere. So tranquil and quiet. Seeing the stars and waking up to the birds chirping away was so refreshing.
Katy the host was lovely and accommodating to our needs.
The property is out in the country and is super quiet, the facilities are great and nice hot showers, we were lucky and had dinner and breakfast there. The food was very good and couldn’t ask for more. We used the fire pit and watched the great view In the sky, that’s hard for see form the city.
We didn’t want to go home, it was the best relaxing night we have had in a while.
Beaudesert was nice.
The roads, very dangerous, if it's a holiday site the roads all should double lane, updated bridges, it's 2024.
The tennis courts had lights, but we couldn't use them.
Breakfast was delicious, Cafe was awesome , fresh jams and relishes, cookies, just delicious! Owners very accommodating and knew alot of historical facts about the area, what a great stay!
