Wonderful experience.
Pros:

Would recommend this hotel completely. It was walking distance from restaurants, the river and other tourist attractions. The rooms were a great size and very clean and comfortable. It was part of our tour package so good value for money. The rooms were quiet, and the staff were very helpful. The presentation of the hotel was very pleasant and calm.

The hotel was in a good location but staff was cold, there was no warmth in their service. Especially reception!
Pros:

Location was good and it was clean. O did not use all the facility but swimming pool was good for family and kids.

Cons:

I booked family room still I was charged extra for my kids, for both of them though they had an extra bed - 2+1 bed. Not sure why it’s called a family room. When it was time to check out they had no one to help!!! The reception told I am alone you get your own luggage down!

Comfortable stay at Fortuna
Pros:

It was a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Fortuna. The Chinese food at the restaurant was very good. I enjoyed my stay at Fortuna. The hotel staff are friendly and approachable. I will make a return to stay in this hotel if I have the opportunity to visit Hanoi again. Highly recommended !!!

Pros:

We were on a 21 days Southeast Asia trip with tour company , “Trip To Go” , there were 56 people in our group. By the time we arrived at Fortuna Hotel Hanoi, we had already been to 8 different hotels. This hotel was by far the BEST hotel we had stayed. When we arrived, there were many different tours and a lot of people around the hotel lobby. We arrived exhausted from having to get up at 3 AM that morning, touring around the city and countryside all day.
There he was, Mr Pangan, General Manager of the hotel, standing there greeted me with a smile. He asked if anything he would help us with. We were all exhausted and hungry. He referred us upstairs to this fabulous Chinese restaurant. The Chinese food and dim sum were as good as in America if it’s not better and the service was exceptional, especially with the captain Ms Florence.
Mr Pangan and Ms Florence had helped us recover from our exhaustions.
We want to thank them with our gratitude. If we ever return to Hanoi Fortuna hotel will be our home!
