Location to our event and a great restaurant

Cons:

A party all night long (till 400am) in the room next door 😩
Also really need hairdryers in the renovated bathrooms !! You supply a jug and iron but no hairdryer

stairs to our room were approx 20 which were very very steep Hand rail was very very unstable
one double bed and one single bed One Towel
No mention of not having a lift was mentioned in their advertisment

Pros:

Have stayed at the Southend Hotel several times. It is always a pleasant stay, clean & comfortable with all that one needs. There is a laundry
on site. The pub downstairs has a decent restaurant with good food.
Supermarket, Chemist, Baker, Fruit & Veg, Takeaway & coffee all available next door. Buses also close by. Plus the beach.

Cons:

Maybe the stairs would be a problem for some people.

Gemütlich. Gute Gesellschaft.
Pros:

Pub im Erdgeschoss. Jeden abend ist was neues los zur Unterhaltung. Das Zimmer war gut isoliert, also nicht viel Lärm von unten zu hören. Balkon war gut für eine Zigarette zwischendurch.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten um die Ecke. Nicht weit vom Strand. Gepäck konnte nach Checkout deponiert werden.

Cons:

Kein Lift vorhanden.

Pros:

Love Southend, we stay here regularly as its close to where we need to be. Great Staff !!

Cons:

Unfortunately its un avoidable but noise coming from the bar - but hey the food and beers are always good
