Ironbark Inn

To start the bed was horrible. Old spring bed which had collapsed in the middle. So soft and had to sleep half out to stop from rolling into the middle. Miss matched horrible sheets that were old and scratchy. Didn’t sleep and was cranky the next day. Told owner I wanted a refund and he admitted the beds need replacing but I had to fight it out with booking.com.
Air con was loud and not efficient. Couldn’t run it over the hot night. No fans.
Advertised restaurant and pool. No restaurant. There was a pool but it had very little water in it.
The whole room was mismatched with no guest consideration at all. Thank heavens we were only there for one night.

The room could of been a lot cleaner. Very little sleep due to dogs barking continuously from 1.30 am til daylight.

The floor boards are coming apart. Pinched my foot and my foot got stuck in the floor boards. The shower head is broken and sprays water into your eyes the roof and covers the toilet and the floors. The ceiling is sagging and full of water and the floor is soaked. The shower is covered in mould and not clean at all. The bathroom bin had no liner. The bed sagged when you sat on it. There was a random toilet roll on the floor next to the bed. The aircon smelt mouldy and barely worked.
The laundry half washed the clothes and the dryer ate up many pairs of undies covering them in oil and chewed holes in them. The pool was full of toads. The overall presentation of the property was poor and very un kept.

The room had a very strong chemical smell. We were unable to leave the sliding doors open because there were no mosquito screens and we could see several dead bees on the floor. We kept stepping over them and squishing them.
The room was not very clean, it felt very dusty.

The bed was good, but the bedding let it down big time. The sheets were rough, didn't fit the bed and there was only a blanket, no doona or cover. It was also not walking distance for me to the main street and shops.

The cabin was totally basic and tiny , some sort of old portable building . the shower/ toilet area leaked , the walls were full of cracks and patch fix ups, the tv fridge electric jug and toaster all ran off the one power point . Everything was in poor condition. The pool was unusable , half empty and full of slime and dirt which was annoying because it was so hot there. The restaurant was non existent.

Filthy, run down, worn out and disgusting.

The carpet was filthy, it was fraying and there were some ugly stains. There was no hot water in the shower, both on the night we checked in or in the morning when leaving. The beds were atrocious - they were so saggy that my partner and I had to sleep in separate beds. The bed sheets were a mix of whatever they could find to make the bed. There were no extra blankets or pillows. No niceties like iron and ironing board.
