Stuffy room, the window wasn't open when I arrived late at night (probably could not be helped because of the hot weather)
Tv didn't work other than on a couple of obscure channels and QVC!
Breakfast - no refill offered on coffee, only packaged sugary cereal/yoghurt. scrambled egg really over cooked and dry. Basic toast. Very young (summer holidays) staff who didn't really know how to attend.

A really good location from which to explore this area. A quaint village with a traditional pub. Food is very good. S

Excellent rooms and superb breakfast.
Pros:

Spacious rooms with big comfy beds and lovely bedding and towels.
Good breakfast included, well cooked and plentiful.
Dinner was also excellent food large portions leaving no room for desert!

Cons:

Bathroom was a bit cramped and a shelf for toiletries and hook on back of door or a towel rail would have been helpful.
Although we had reserved a table for dinner at 6.30 when service began, and were there to give our order at that time, we had to wait almost an hour before our food arrived.. The waitress was very pleasant (said they were very busy) but others must have been served before us. We were a large group (8) and the food was lovely, but it did seem a long wait

Great place to stay - just make sure your room will have a fridge if you need one like I did.
Pros:

Breakfast was great, Room was nice enough, bit small.

Only issue is that this site clearly states there's a fridge but that's not the case for every room. Mine did not have one.

Would not stay again as we had a very poor nights sleep.
Pros:

Staff were very nice. Had dinner in the pub which was excellent.

Cons:

Double room was very small. Pillows were as flat as pancakes. Pillows kept falling behind bed as bed had no headboard. No wardrobe to hang up a long dress for a wedding the next day. The room backed onto the entrance of a gravel car park which was very noisy as cars came in and out. The room had no windows , just sky lights which had to be left open as it was so hot. Not a good nights sleep.

Fantastic stay , wish I could stay longer.

Just perfect. Grounds are amazing. Rooms are stunning. Bed very comfortable.

It was fine and the lad in the kitchen who took us to get our car was fab.
Pros:

It was close to where we were going.

Cons:

We ordered our breakfast and we knew who would be served in which order and 2 tables were served before us and they ordered after us, when I asked about it I was told it came out in the right order which it did not!
