Overall, the misleading photos and poor maintenance completely overshadowed the property’s potential.

The photos appear to have been heavily enhanced with AI and look nothing like the actual property. We were extremely disappointed, and it negatively affected our stay on Gili Air.

The property has clear potential, but it has been poorly maintained and seems to suffer from inadequate management. Everything felt dirty and neglected, from the common areas to the dining facilities. We couldn’t bring ourselves to eat the breakfast because the overall cleanliness was so poor.

It’s a shame, as the property could be a lovely place to stay with proper upkeep and attention. Unfortunately, the reality was far from what was advertised.

I refused to stay here, unfortunately I had paid upfront and the hotel refused to refund me but I still could not bring
Pros:

Unfortunately I am writing a very bad review which is extremely unlike me, when I arrived at property couldn’t believe what I was seeing, nothing like the pictures on the website

Cons:

The property in my opinion was in a state of disrepair and has not had a coat of paint in years the pictures on the website I would suggest are at least 10 years old and it seems that no investment or repairs have taken place in this time

Lovely gem of Gili air
Pros:

This was the best hotel of our holiday to Bali and Gili islands. The location is amazing, the rooms are super spacious, the pools are lovely and the staff can not do enough for me. I would definitely come back. The breakfast is adequate. The best thing about this hotel is the location and how big the rooms are. I'd definitely recommend this hotel. Also wake up early and enjoy the sunrise just outside your hotel

Gili air est une très belle île :)
Pros:

L’emplacement géographique.
Le personnel était super et le petit déjeuner très bon. L’hôtel pouvait nous mettre à disposition un vélo électrique avec lequel nous avons pu faire le tour de l’île. La salle de bain était sympa et le lit confortable.

Cons:

Le sol un peu sale et 3/4 chenilles dans la salle de bain qui se baladaient dans le carré de douche mais c’était pas dérangeant du tout, c’était plutôt mignon de voir ses chenilles se baladaient.

L’emplacement sur l’île et la belle plage. Le petit déjeuner été très bien. Bel hôtel et personnel très accueillant.

Les insectes dans les bungalow. Il n’y a pas de moustiquaire et nous avons eu la visite de deux grosses araignées et des lézards dans la chambre le soir

It’s well located, 8-10 min. walk from the port. Own beach with a bar. Room was clean. Nice staff, they tried to do the best. You can take beach towel from the reception for free. That’s nice.

Cons:

I would say photos in the gallery are finetuned with AI. Service was nice, but could be far more better. The breakfast offer is very limited. We liked pancakes and fresh fruit, but there is not many options to choose from. We booked and pay in advance. We stayed for 6 nights but I think you can find better places around in the same price.

Heerlijk en ontspannen verblijf op een prachtige locatie met vriendelijk personeel en geweldig snorkelen voor de deur.
Pros:

Prachtige locatie en een ruim opgezet resort. Ons huisje was prima voor een gezin en er kon eenvoudig een extra bed bijgeplaatst worden. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook was het heerlijk dat je direct voor de deur kon snorkelen. De sfeer op het resort was rustig en ontspannen.

Cons:

Het huisje was verder schoon, maar bij aankomst viel op dat het eerste wat je zag vanaf buiten wat weer/vlekken in de raamdecoratie waren. Van binnen zag dit er overigens prima uit. Daarnaast zou het resort nog mooier ogen als enkele vervallen huisjes op het terrein verwijderd of opgeknapt worden. Nieuwe gordijnen of raamdecoratie zouden sommige kamers ook net wat frisser maken.
