Morley Hayes Hotel

Nice location and room on ground level which was clean and tidy with excellent comfortable bed.

Excellent Birthday meal for my wife. Lovely food and the staff were friendly and attentive. Even had a Birthday card from the owner which was a nice touch. The Roosters Bar has just been renovated to a very good standard. All in all a very nice experience.

We chose Morley Hayes for our wedding venue and it exceeded our expectations!
We arrived the day before, ate in Roosters Bar (excellent food), stayed in a Superior room with a balcony overlooking the golf course. The room was spacious, very well appointed with a huge comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent too!
Our wedding day was perfect with special thanks to Carol for helping us to plan the day, Jane (our master of ceremonies) and Andrew who was on hand over the weekend and ensured it ran very smoothly. All of the staff in the hotel, restaurant and the events team are so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and we appreciate all they did.
We had the Penthouse Suite for our wedding night, again with a balcony overlooking the golf course. It was an amazing room, just a shame we didn't spend that much time in it!
We would highly recommend Morley Hayes for food, celebrations and events, such a beautiful setting with excellent, attentive staff. Thank you!!

Morley Hayes is my favourite hotel to stay at when visiting Derby / Derbyshire.

Welcoming staff, clean and comfortable, good location. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly.

Lovely couple of days golfing with 6 friends. Hotel room and restaurant were excellent and staff were very helpful. Celebrating a special birthday and a beautiful bouquet was waiting for me in the room on arrival… thankyou!

My wife and I have been dining at Morley Hayes for quite a number of years we have seen it grow and grow to what it is today.
We called in yesterday for food and once again was not disappointed the food was excellent as ever the staff and service is second to none it has been refurbished since our last visit the owners have high standards and it shows and appreciated. If I was to be negative about anything is that the menu hardly ever changes and is very predictable although the food is very good a little tweek of the menu on a more regular basis would be welcome

We stayed last night and had such a lovely experience from start to finish. Jane on reception was especially welcoming and friendly, and honestly all the staff were just fantastic — nothing felt like too much trouble.

Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice and everything really well done. But the absolute highlight for me was the bed — it was enormous and unbelievably comfortable. I had one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in ages. The SIX pillows were also incredible — soft but still supportive — I’m actually on a mission now to find out where I can buy some!

Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

This is our second stay here and hopefully not our last, we absolutely love the little things, the professional and friendly staff to greet you and see you off with a smile, the sweets and apples on the receptions desk the writing paper and postcards and even the bible in the room and we're not religious. Please don't stop doing what you're doing with the good 'old fashioned' values and standards, a nice change from the faceless and soulless hotels :)

I couldn't decide which dessert to have. Mango and passion fruit cheese cake or Hot cross bun bread and butter pudding. They were delicious.Ordered one of each cut them in half to share with my friend
