Room was very outdated!!
Furniture torn, poorly cleaned, and the manger was aware of the issues and said it needs a repair, but rooms stay booked to do it… rooms need to be repaired before booking is allowed!
Would not stay here again

I have rented 2 of the 2 bedroom condos costing over $6000 for the week.... I stayed in Oceans One the year it opened 2007 or 2008. This is the same carpet and furniture as when it was opened .. the rooms are truthfully destroyed... our carpet is torn, washer has not worked in one room since we have got here.. the tables , couches, and chairs are very nasty ..we will not eat on them and we are having wear shoes inside the room our jets in the tub do not work , tv cracked ... we were not allowed to check in until 410 after checkout and our room had a dirty wash cloth left behind the door, the carpet has a sticky substance on it ...and fingerprints all over the kitchen appliances... bathroom light does not work , no battery in the smoke detector ...the rooms are overall disgusting ...the hot tub outside does not work, the one inside only works have the time ...elevators are nasty also.. very disappointed
The general managers refunded us one night per room reminding me that that is almost $500 a night... I do not need reminded , I paid for the other 6 nights WITHOUT a wash machine and all the issues in the room ...his response was that most people
Do not base their vacation on a wash machine.and the wash machine was not nearly al late issues!!!!... We need our wash machine and make sure that the condo we rent has a wash machine for our convenience... he told us since we had 2 rooms we could carry our dirty stuff up a flight of stairs to our other room...
PLEASE avoid Oceans One.the condo owners are there to make a killing and do absolutely nothing to fix the condos ....our rooms are 1401 and 1501... we are a clean family that work hard for our money to save all year...

To Myrtle Beach for the last 30 years... never got a refund nor requested one... so please understand I'm not exaggerating ... this place is a dump and the management is rude ...
If the condos were rented for $200 a night then I would expect what we got but not for $475 a night !

Not a well maintained resort.

The carpets and old and nasty. There was a tack strip for the carpet poking through, I stepped on it and cut my foot. My son did his best to bend the nails down so someone else wouldn’t get hurt.

The icemaker in our freezer did not work but they did provide one broken ice tray.

We did appreciate having a washer and dryer in the unit.

The views and location are amazing. Close to the second avenue pier for fireworks on Wednesday night and close to the family kingdom amusement park. A close walk to town also.

The mattress in the master bedroom was worn out, you could feel the springs. The master bathroom shower light didn’t work. They only provided 4 rolls of toilet paper for both bathrooms for a 5 night stay.

Living room furniture is awful. The couch and chair were peeling. The tables were beat up and scratched.

I was very concerned that there is no bathroom in the pool area. It was very crowded and people were drinking and never leaving the area. I know they had to be peeing in the pool.

I believe they should change the price point of this resort to a lower rate to reflect the age and wear that it is showing. $2100 for a two bedroom in poor repair is too much!

I will give the hotel credit for the location!! However it is in desperate need of many repairs and updating. The couch and carpets had rolls and rips. Stove bottom was broken, refrigerator had standing water in it and the dryer was rusted. Hotel room door was busted and the main automatic door only opened half the time. Sheetrock was busted on many walls. The kiddie pool stayed full of sand. Kitchen chairs were ripped and missing bottom caps. Curtians were stained badly and patio windows nasty. The hotubs had mechanical issues the entire time of our stay. The mirror above the bed had huge handprints.

The area rented was spacious, but not well cleaned. As soon as I got there, I washed the tables and dusted. The main area and master bath had a beautiful view of the beach. The third bedroom overlooked the amusement park-which was actually nice. There were drunk people in the elevator and I think this was not the safest place to stay.
The pools were not that clean-one was filthy with debris floating in it.
Would I stay here again-probably not. Was it horrible-no. Just not very clean and old. We found a cracker, hair tie and hair clip on the floor on arrival. There was hair in the sink in one room. The blow dryer was a dinosaur and burned my hand with plastic melting and the cord doing the same. I left it on the living room table and my son’s fiancé notified the owner of the damage.
On the plus side, along with the view, it’s a great place to stay if you like to walk to everything on the beach-we do!!!

Room 1708...HORRIBLE!!!! This was by far the worst room I've ever stayed in. I travel alot, but the owner of this unit does not care for it. Let me explain...We noticed the moment we opened the door, the air was stale, this is what we found: (1) The last time the air filter was changed was 12/2024!! (2) the white dining room chairs were stained black, (3) the pots were stored under the sink where it looked like their was water damage and possible mold, (4) one of the legs on the iron board was completely broken off, (5) none of the tvs worked, (6) curtains were stained. These are a few things we found. This was our first time in Myrtle Beach and Ocean One Resort didn't leave us with a good impression. However, the highlights were the close proximity to the Family Adventure Park and the oceanfront views. That's it!!! Cleanliness is clearly NOT a priority for this property.

The condo had a lot of issues. There was a used toilet seat inside the closet blankets had stains on it. The washer and dryer was broken, and the host told us to use it anyhow even though it was a fire hazard. The host called me picky but I took pictures of everything. There was a broken bed there I don’t recommend it.

The view was great. Had several places walking distance. But the hotel needs a renovation badly. It was spots all over the room. Damaged cabinets and furniture. The stove was dangerous for small children with knobs up front. No safety locks on patio doors. Room needed better cleaning. The pools were heated but they had all doors and panels removed. When the weather is low 70s and high winds area was real good. The pools need better cleaning and no pool towels. They have good water pressure but the bathroom faucets are to hard and shuts water everywhere. One toilet was leaking and lop siding. Never saw any security. Not having house keeping wasn’t on hotels.com. Had to wash your own towels. Only provided 2 trash bags and no dishwasher tabs. Then got email day before stating if trash wasn’t removed and dishes washed would get extra charges. This is a hotel not private condo. Not offering basic house keeping services is ridiculous. Then leaving we had horrible weather. They only seem to have couple of luggage carts. The drop off on side is so small. Totally chaos trying to load vehicle. Just was very disappointed with so many things here. Would not stay here again.
