Staff were all friendly, it’s quiet and love the river
The shower curtain liner wasn’t the right size so you had to be super careful not to step on it and fall
Our cabin was clean and comfortable. The location is quiet and private as it is set back off the road. Our stay was very pleasant, and I would stay here again.
Owner was nice and attentive . Location was perfect
Maybe update interiors
Proximity to Rocky Mountains
Fake deer? lol
An exceptional place to stay for a wilderness atmosphere. The manager was genuinely concerned about his guests’ welfare.
The stairs to our second floor cabin were a bit treacherous after it snowed.
Everything from check-in to the accommodations to the scenery were absolutely perfect. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this property and plan on staying again when I come back to Estes Park.
Everything was stunning and fantastic. You can’t beat an upstairs view of Fall River.
The property was outstanding loved it . The owner was very friendly and helpful
Loved all nothing not to like
We were the 1st cabin on the left, closest to the river, so that was nice. The area around the cabin was lush & green. They had modernized some things in the cabin like the flooring. They had coverings for every window, which was nice. The cabin was laid out well. They had a nice floor to ceiling cubby storage, which was nice, near the bathroom.
The cabin ran very cold with only a mini-split above the door. There was an old electric fireplace plugged in, with light heat coming from it at all times, but it stayed the same whether the switch nearby was turned on or off. The bed was as hard as a rock and all the furniture was old & dated. There were no instructions on how to operate anything in the cabin, nothing, so we had to guess at how to make everything work from the TV, to the mini-split, to the electric fireplace, to the coffee maker, and even to the heated toilet. There was a closet but with no provided hangers. We had no idea if we were to wash our dishes or not, so we did so as not to cause an issue. However, no dish drainer or drying towel was provided, nor a way to clean the sink before washing the dishes.
Location, solitude, the wild life and spa tub
The mattress
Loved the location
Could use a little updating like paint and flooring
Great location, peaceful and perfect for entry into the National park. Well equipped room, lovely veranda overlooking the woods. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and recommended the Wapita pub and restaurant next door, which was really good.
The decor is quite retro, but despite that it is still perfectly functional.
Great location and clean
Manager was rude, difficult and made us regret the booking. Office was closed but notes we had said we could still check in after hours. We called repeatedly on 2 separate numbers and got no response. After an hour of trying to get our room the owner bops down the stairs into the office. He HAD to know we were there but did not respond to our calls, ringing the bell and knocking.
Owner claimed there was a failure of communication between the property and Booking.com (not my fault at all) but manager/owner was so rude to us. We would have walked away except the charge had already gone to my card and I was worried I would not be able to get a refund.
After an hour and a half we finally got into a room and it was not at all like the pictures.
I will say it was clean.
I highly recommend looking at other options in the area. There are so many other places.
Wonderful location!!!…the grounds were well kept..while the grounds looked very natural they were kept very clean!! We were located next to a running stream…VERY pleasant!!!
Only that they needed a bit of updating..And the girls we asked about getting ice were not fluent in English and were unable to help me.However they seemed very sweet and courteous!!
Everything very nice and clean with river view 😍
Everything was perfect, nothing to complain about 🫰
