From the moment we arrived, the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The mountain right near where we were staying looked magnificent, and we would love to come back and hike it someday.
We saw many elk during our stay, including one right outside our back porch by the river, which was such a special experience.
The hot tub was clean, already filled and ready to use, with great jets and lights. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and cozy, and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. We also appreciated having a clean grill, plenty of space, good air circulation, and a fireplace that made the evenings especially cozy.
The best part was the location and the views. Everywhere we looked, out the windows, from the porch, or outside,we were surrounded by beautiful scenery. It was a peaceful and memorable place for our family, and we would definitely stay here again.
Everything was spotless. Nice outdoor area, entire room was very clean and neat.
Nothing.
The most unbelievable perfect cabin for my family on our wedding trip!! Max and his son treated us like family!! Best and must perfect experience I've ever had!!
Close to the river
Check in wasn’t till 3, hard to understand the person in the computer check in
Location and environment. Lovely by the river!
The TV was ok. We would have liked to get FOX news but could only get FOX live or weather.
Beautiful property. Private deck for viewing wildlife.
Nothing really.
I never stayed there.I called to talk to the owner , and he was incredibly rude to me. Is website is misleading? There is no standalone cabins they are connected not standalone like his website says. When I cancel my reservation , he took another six hundred dollars out of my account. Take me four days to get half of my money back., i've never been treated so poorly by somebody in the hospitality business.
Loved the stream by the cabin. Parking right in front of cabin.
Clean but could use some upgrades.
Convenient parking. In room amenities excellent for the size of the room. Comfortable bed. Patio and stream side seating enjoyable
Community hot tub not working. Would have liked earlier check in. Website confusing while booking. Unable to clearly see which unit and location of units I had access to for booking.
Max was very nice, we had family emergency on our way out, had to cancel. Then took care of our emergency n turned around to stay. He let us stay until next day to secure our payment. Very accommodating. Our new place to stay every time we visit RMNP
Little warm during the day, but not hot so it was ok.
Great location
Being right on the river of course! I love that it’s tucked away, and the coziness of the studio we stayed in. And Max, the owner, is so sweet 😊
That there were piles of old carpet and stuff that needs to be hauled away from doing construction that was an eye sore and took away from the beauty of the property. I also noticed that we couldn’t really get our AC to work so it was really warm the first night, and only cooled down by the next night due to keeping the windows open.
The cabin was clean and cozy. The stream in the backyard was amazing. The hot tub was a nice extra touch, along with the bathrobes. The location was excellent and close to one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park!
This is our second time staying here. Cute resort off of Fall River Rd and walking distance to Cinnamon's Bakery and Wapiti restaurant. Short drive to the entrance of RMNP.
The resort itself is a little bizarre with all the fake deer planted all over the place, however we did have a big bull Elk visit the resort several times.
The owner/manager is a little "old school". Way too many rules and would not take my credit card information over the phone "because you never know who's listening"!! Only allowed ONE roll of TP at a time, limited coffee pods and I will need to wash all my dirty dishes before I vacate or I will be charged $40 on my credit card!! I'm paying $700 for three nights and I have to do my own dishes??!!
Overall, it's a cute, convenient resort, limited amenities and WAYY too many rules.
