Historic hotel in Alison National Forest
Pros:

Fantastic location right inside the Alishan Natural Forest and corresponding views of the forest and mountains from the room and restaurant. Walking distance to nearby sights. Shuttle to the train station. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

The buffet restaurant has a great selection but the quality was a bit mediocre. The bathroom wasn't cleaned very well. I appreciate it is a historical building but really needs some maintenance/updates.

單靠地點與餐食支撐不起高貴的房價，不如出國～
Pros:

地點鄰近神木群及景點；住宿二天的早、晚餐都有變化而且也都美味，很用心在餐點上。這是唯二對得起房價的地方。

Cons:

缺點很多：1.接駁車時間不定，自由行旅客接駁次序劣後團客。2.住房空間之枕頭塌軟、大床床墊老舊沒有支撐力，由二張小床併接，中間接痕明顯不適，整體不好睡；3.電視尺寸小、畫質偏暗不佳，無法連接手機，遙控器有網飛按鈕，但電視平台不支援。4.浴室與廁所只有各自的玻璃門，整體空間與住房空間沒有另設隔門；燈光直射床上躺臥位置，廁所聲音與味道明顯，馬桶使用會噴濺，只配備洗手乳、洗髮乳和沐浴乳，沒有擦手、臉、身體的乳液，更不用說當然沒有拖鞋。5.房間插座設置不足；6.飲料BAR只有快煮爐和咖啡包、茶包、方塊酥，9樓也沒有設置飲水機。7.隔音很差：即使為了較佳隔音才選現代館，隔音仍然很差，走廊過客的談話聲音在房內可明顯清楚聽見，隔壁房客聊天也可聽聞，頗受干擾。8.深夜不知哪裡傳來固定頻率的電子嘟嘟聲，影響入眠。
