Highland hospitality at its best in a very comfortabl
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful hotel, very well decorated and comfortable. Room was lovely and breakfast was of a very high standard. The staff made everything perfect - extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming - every staff member we encountered could not have been more professional and Joyce on reception was really warm and friendly.

Lovely building and staff..........food needs addressing!
Pros:

The building was lovely. Our bedroom was very comfortable. Staff were very helpful.

Cons:

The food let the whole place down............we hardly touched our meal as it was well overcooked. We did get it taken off our bill though with no quibbles at all which makes me think food complaints are common?

A Royal Welcome in Brora
Pros:

We spent a very enjoyable three nights here in June. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable, staff were welcoming and friendly and service throughout the hotel and restaurant was very good. The food in the Curing Yard Restaurant was excellent - a varied and interesting menu, with a tempting daily special that changes every day. Breakfasts were also very good with a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes. A bank of Tesla chargers was being installed while we were there, which will be an added bonus for those, like us, with EVs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely consider returning on our next visit to this area.

Pros:

El personal fue muy atento y amable, muy rica la comida, habitación de buen tamaño y bien decorada

Cons:

1) el agua caliente no funcionó y no pudimos ducharnos bien, además 2) nos dieron la habitación más alejada, a la salida de servicio, a la mañana no pudimos ni abrir las cortinas porque afuera había movimiento de personal y descarga.
Se lo mencioné al momento del check out y me dieron una explicación habitual pero ninguna atención especial. Creo que amerita reintegro de parte del precio pagado, no es justo, es un hotel caro y me senti defraudada con la experiencia

Highland Coastal Comfort Near Stunning Brora Beach
Pros:

Welcoming, excellent service and plenty of parking. Restaurant staff friendly and food high quality. Close to beach but quiet location. Short walk into town.

Cons:

The lighting in our room was insufficient and it was hard to read even sitting next to the window. No view from our room.

Afternoon tea for 2
Pros:

I went for afternoon tea with a lady friend on a Monday from 130pm to about 330pm. It was my first time ever getting afternoon tea and thus has lots of questions for the waiter. All those questions were answered with great patience by the server, Scott.

It was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone. Lots of great food, free coffee/tea refills, the list goes on. There was so much to eat that we could finish the deserts so took them home in a box.

The settings is grand and elegant but also very relaxing and welcoming. So, in general I'd recommend the experience to everyone and anyone who wants to experience a taste of the good life.

Pros:

Gorgeous hotel and staff were great. Little touches like fresh milk and shortbread were lovely. Comfy bed

Cons:

Our room was quite small, had a view of a rooftop with a busy fan and the bathroom was a bit tired.

East coast stop on the NC500
Pros:

The hotel was in a good location for a stop on the NC500. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. The room we had was very spacious and great for a relaxed stay.

Cons:

I felt that the place was slightly understaffed. But everyone was very helpful.
