Struttura da sogno, colazione stupenda, staff gentilissimo.
Pros:

Ho soggiornato con mia madre per 4 notti: il personale è stato non solo gentile ma anche super predisposto a risolvere qualsiasi inconveniente.

Menzione speciale per le persone che preparano la colazione, non solo con grande cura ma anche nella qualità e varietà delle cose.

Il personale di pulizia anche cordialissimo è riassettava con cura la stanza tutte le mattine.

Hanno anche a disposizione una navetta gratuita e comoda che fa il saliscendi dalla struttura a Casamicciola.

Lo consiglio vivamente e ci tornerei di sicuro.

Cons:

Nulla. Solo come suggerimento mettere delle zanzariere nelle finestre perché ovviamente essendo un posto in mezzo alla natura è normale che ci siano delle zanzare, ma comunque loro mettono a disposizione l'apparecchio per allontanarle.

Incredible views, peaceful and very charming
Pros:

The property has lots of personality and personal touches. The views are outstanding, the food is exceptional and produce from their own garden. A really great breakfast. The free shuttle to the nearby towns was essential as the property is located in a very quiet area with no bars, shops close by.
If arriving by ferry don’t take the fast hydrofoil and instead take the larger ferry which is cheaper and more relaxing.
Would highly recommend Villa Janto and would hope to stay again in the future.

Cons:

Nothing not to like. It is a bit rustic but that adds to the charm.

Pros:

La vue du restaurant est splendide, excellent petit déjeuner, repas du soir très moyen ! Chambre insonorisation moyenne liée à la chute de l'évacuation des eaux ! La navette est très pratique et très fiable. Le jeune homme à la réception parlant français est un hôte parfait, agréable, aidant tous nos projets d'excursions, et devançant nos besoins (taxis, préparation au départ etc.)la nourrit. Un bonheur !!! Grande facilité de visite en bus

L’emplacement parfait en retrait, décoration locale soignée, très bon accueil, service (navettes) et conseils, cuisine maison délicieuse, petit déjeuner exceptionnel et vue panoramique incroyable avec un rooftop - dégustation d’un délicieux rucolino

Cons:

Chambre un peu trop basique (mobilier) et sans charme (ce qui contraste avec le reste de l’établissement), réfrigérateur faisant du bruit, lumière couloir restant allumée, porte non insonorisée (lorsque voisins bruyants), une lumière pourrait être ajoutée dans la salle de bain

Paradise by name and in nature.
Pros:

The staff were amazing, so helpful and cheerful. They put up with me insisting on trying to speak Italian even though they could all speak English! It felt like a big family there, everyone was nice and kind, nothing was too much for them and they exceeded in every way.

The food is incredible, we ate here a few times and the food was great every time, they were accommodating on occasion when we deviated slightly from the menu (I really wanted the evening meal for lunch as we had plans that evening).

The views... Wow. The location is perfect as you get amazing views all around, we almost took it for granted until we spoke to people from a wedding down at sea level and all of them had come to Villa Janto for food and views.

Cons:

WiFi is patchy (but not an issue for me as I don't want to be on my phone in a place as beautiful as this).

The walk down is 20-25mins to the port or shops and it's harder coming up obviously, this meant we spent a lot in taxis €20-30 per trip, but there is a free shuttle which we should have looked into more, so this is not the hotel's fault, but advice if you travel here.

Mosquitos... I think they are the only ones who ate better than I did on our trip. We got a small repellent burner plug in machine, but it doesn't work. So more advice to pack and use proper mossie spray/citronella -or have a horrible flight home like me.

Plug sockets are, as in Sicily different to mainland Italy/Europe- so you may need an adapter for 2 to 3 pins. Reception kindly lent us 2 adapters but as much as I love Italy, it's genuinely my favourite place in the world ...but to have 3 different kinds of plug sockets is the most hilarious perfect representation of how some things work (or don't!).


Again this is not the hotel's fault, I have nothing to fault the hotel on.

Pros:

The room, pool, scenic views were excellent.

Cons:

The room is dated and needs more electrical sockets. The toilet and shower are very close together and the shower cubicle is tight (we are both of average build). There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Die Aussicht in alle Richtungen war phänomenal, die Poolanlage toll , Pflanzen ringsherum, der Shuttle nach unten ans Meer super.

Cons:

Das Bad war veraltet, die Duschkabine viel zu eng, laute Musik bis spät in die Nacht.

Beautiful hotel!
Pros:

Beautiful grounds and pool! Unmatched views on the island.

The food was delicious and good spread at breakfast.

We were surprisingly pleased with our room - didn’t feel dated to us and very rustic cute Italian. Balcony had a lovely view and was spotless clean - rooms cleaned every day.

Great free shuttle to local areas

Cons:

Loud music from rooftop parties which should be more explicitly mentioned upon booking.

The location is far out from key places to visit on the island so just be mindful! Bus stops are in easy reach and shuttle provided is super useful though
