Comfortable room, great location
Inflexible cancellation policy. I asked several months in advance if I could reduce my length of stay by 1 day- request was denied.
The modern bathroom and room cleanliness
The initial arrival and senior staff attitude.
Firstly after waiting for sometime at an unattended reception desk we had to go find someone.
Your payment system would not accept either Bank of Scotland nor Halifax credit cards - “it’s not your card that has a problem it is our system” - however on asking for a detailed explanation the senior staff member was excessively abrupt.
It is inconceivable that “your system” did not accept well known bank credit cards.
And to make it worse, my guest Mr Bob Gibson and his wife whom I had booked and paid for another room had to use his credit card as your staff would not authorise that would be allowed to stay if I had not presented another card.
I don’t know about you, but it would be somewhat extreme to be carrying more than 2 credit cards.
The whole “welcoming” experience was a very poor introduction to your hotel for my guests (and myself whom was somewhat embarrassed).
Loved the location - Queensferry was such a cute town. We stayed here the night before our flight and it was a perfect distance from the airport.
Our room was like an oven and the window only opened slightly.
Great location and fantastic views
It has been very hot and my bedroom on the top floor was stuffy at night because the windows only opened slightly
Location near Edinburgh airport (by car), yet much more charming than an airport hotel. Very friendly staff. We did not eat there so cannot speak about the restaurant.
Excellent location. Walkable for activities in South Queensferry and train to Edinburgh.
The location was excellent!
It was a bit warm on the upper level.
The view of the Forth Bridge.
Heavy duvet.
Very cute, very comfy and perfect location!
Uitzicht vanaf restaurant
Good location in centre of town and views of the Forth bridges. Nice clean comfy room. Excellent breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant. A little pricey but worth it. Would definitely recommend
Perfekte Lage am forth, grandioses Restaurant mit sehr gutem Service und noch besserem Ausblick
Great location friendly staff
Comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent shower.
The messages in the room warning about fees associated with taking the soap or other items is very off-putting. In a place of this calibre, I doubt that many guests would be stuffing their suitcases with water bottles or toiletry items that you find in every hotel in the UK.
Good sized rooms, and one with a fantastic view over the bridges. The rooms (two different ones) had nice beds and all the facilities we expected and needed for our stay. All the staff that we had contact with was very helpful and nice.
