Room was facing the river and was noisy even with window closed.
Bed was uncomfortable and quilt was so thick we had to take the cover off and use only the cover to sleep. The room was uncomfortably warm during the whole stay without the heating on.
Excellent hotel, club room great size. Bathroom great. Food in hotel is very good. Great bar with evening entertainment. Beds amazing.

leisure facilities
I am writing to follow up on a health and welfare concern that we reported following our stay at your Glasgow hotel in room 217 from 22 to 25 October 2026.
During our stay, my son developed numerous bites which were very red and raised. We are concerned that these may have been caused by biting insects in the room.
We reported the issue to reception when we checked out on the morning of Sunday 25 October, as this was when my son realised that the marks were not a normal skin condition. The staff member who saw some of the bites on his hand was extremely apologetic and advised that the matter would be reported to management. We were also told that we would receive a full refund for our stay.
I am still awaiting email confirmation of the incident and the promised refund. Please could you confirm:
That the incident has been formally recorded and brought to management’s attention.
What action has been taken to investigate the room.
When we can expect the full refund to be processed.

Nice room, Food good, nice bar
The traffic at tea time !
Clean - conveniently located for our purpose
Breakfast - lacked the Scottish touch - no black pudding/potatoe scones or square slice

Nice and clean bar snacks very good but my only fault would be the restaurant breakfast quite poor and running out of food for booked tables

Didn’t like having to pay extra to park my car.
