Lovely stay

Was not what we hoped it would be.

Location easy. Staff lovely. Food good .

Cons:

Long wait for drinks in the bar. Being charged for service in bar but says nothing on the drinks list.
Very long wait for dinner after ordering and three couples that came in after us being served before us.
Kept awake until almost 1 o’clock in the morning because a wedding was on and everyone was gathering outside which we could hear, the noise was so loud.

Lovely stay in Aberdeen!
Pros:

Very nicely appointed room and extremely comfortable. Whilst it might not have been walking distance into town, there was a bus right outside the door so I found the property to be conveniently located without having a car

Enjoyable but eclensive , one night & £400 spent on room and restaurant. Ok value but not outstanding

Cons:

several american male golfing groups, dominating the ambience of our hotel breakfast with just a minority of the groups undertaking very loud discussions not of their golf but largely of the night before activities, costs and performances of local prostitutes etc etc etc. needs some male staff member of authority to request they consider waiting till they are on their golfing buses for such banter.

A very comfortable stay
Pros:

BEautifully presented and still retaining much of the original architecture of when the hotel was a series of prestigious private houses
