Comfortable, beautiful Rio stay that felt like home
Pros:

Wonderful, comfortable stay. The included breakfast is delicious and the staff is very friendly. The views from the pool are absolutely stunning.

Cons:

The only thing to note that it was a little difficult to find Uber drivers willing to travel to Casa Geraniol. This was not a problem since we could always catch a taxi within a minute or two of waiting outside but just something to note. Also, the stairs are steep and narrow which was not a problem for us but something to note for people with mobility issues.

Besondere Atmosphäre, ruhige und grüne Oase über den Dächern von Rio.
Pros:

Das ganze Anwesen ist sehr besonders. Der Garten, die Terrasse, der Pool… Wir hatten das Zimmer ganz oben mit dem Balkon und haben den Ausblick und die Ruhe genossen. Das Frühstück ist sehr schön gemacht. Es kommt jeden Tag anders aufbereitet direkt an den Tisch, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Santa Teresa ist ein spannendes und alternatives Viertel und tagsüber steht Erkundungen zu Fuß nichts im Weg. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass wir am letzten Tag zu fairen Konditionen noch den Pool weiter nutzen konnten, unser Gepäck sicher verstaut war und wir sogar eine Dusche mit allem drum und dran zur Verfügung hatten. Dadurch hatten wir trotz sehr spätem Flug einen tollen Abschluss. Die Gastgeber sind sehr präsent und Teil der besonderen Atmosphäre. Sie haben uns einige tolle Tipps gegeben.

Pros:

Un hotel especial i únic que és un recés de pau al centre de Rio (Lapa / Santa Teresa). El jardí és preciós i frondós, la casa principal és preciosa. Finalment el tracte de tot el personal, des de la parella de propietaris fins als treballadors (en particular les noies de l'esmorzar), ens ha fet sentir com a casa. Per cert l'esmorzar és nutritiu i excel·lent. Un plaer.

Superbe pousada au cœur de Santa Theresa. Les propriétaires sont plus que sympathiques et le personnel aussi. Super petit déjeuner avec vue magnifique sur le Centro de Rio. Lit très confortable. Piscine avec vue sublime.

Cons:

Rien. Sauf une robinet bouché à notre arrivée mais RAS.

meu pedido de noivado foi aqui e foi a melhor escolha

Eu amei este hotel. Sempre prefiro hotéis boutique, e escolhi este principalmente pela vista e pelo quarto. Foi aqui que decidi fazer meu pedido de casamento, e não poderia ter escolhido um lugar melhor.

A vista, as instalações, o atendimento... tudo parecia feito para tornar esse momento ainda mais especial. Nós queríamos um lugar tranquilo, confortável, reservado e que proporcionasse uma experiência inesquecível, e foi exatamente isso que encontramos. Não consigo imaginar uma escolha melhor.

O café da manhã foi, sem dúvida, o melhor café da manhã que já tive em um hotel. Já me hospedei em hotéis de luxo, como o Four Seasons, e mesmo assim este hotel conseguiu oferecer algo que poucos conseguem: uma experiência realmente personalizada. Você sente que as pessoas estão ali, de verdade, para cuidar de você e fazer com que sua estadia seja perfeita.

As instalações são impecáveis e a sensação de estar cercado pela natureza torna tudo ainda mais especial. Ficamos na suíte com piscina privativa, e foi uma das melhores decisões da viagem. Valeu cada centavo.

É um daqueles lugares que você vai embora já pensando em quando poderá voltar.

Refúgio no meio do Rio de Janeiro com ótima localização e muito conforto !
Pros:

Todos os funcionários eram muito educados e engajados a nos ajudar. Todos os problemas foram resolvidos. O quarto era muito bonito e confortável, com roupas de cama e toalhas de extrema qualidade. A localização é excelente para quem quer se afastar da loucura do RJ, além de proporcionar belas vistas do alto da cidade.

Cons:

O único ponto de melhoria no quarto é o espaço do box do banheiro, que é um pouco apertado. A entrada é de difícil acesso (excesso de escadas), portanto pessoas com mobilidade reduzida teriam dificuldades para acessar a propriedade. O ponto que mais deixou a desejar na nossa opinião foi o café da manhã. Como a modalidade não é self-service e não há um cardápio pré-estabelecido, ficamos a mercê do que temos disponível naquele dia sem a possibilidade de escolha. Isto na minha opinião fomenta o desperdício e não dá muita flexibilidade para o hóspede, podendo ser um problema para pessoas com restrições alimentares.

Casa Geranio is an absolute gem! We stayed for 5 night in the Carioca Suite and it was more beautiful than the photos convey. The place is beautifully designed. Claudio and Gabriel are very generous hosts. I can honestly say that the serve the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Staying five days meantbthat we could see how much care went into it, different serveware and table dressings, different smoothies, cakes fruit salad, eggs, charcuterie... it was amazing. We also appreciated Claudio's recommendations on things to do- it meant we had experiences in Rio that we otherwise would have not. Thank you so much!

Persoonlijk en gastvrij
Pros:

Gastvrijheid van de eigenaar en personeel. Ontbijt was leuk met veel oog voor detail. Het huis was op een hele mooie manier tegen een berg aan gebouwd, iets wat je niet vaak ziet. Ook hebben ze twee leuke honden.

Cons:

Warm water duurt wat lang om te krijgen maar dan moet je gewoon even wachten.
