Rethinking the clean aspect
Pros:

I selected this particular location due to reviewers stating the room was clean. Well, I am seriously questioning the clean aspect because upon entering the supposedly only room left on the premises, it smelled so badly that I had to open the door and the single window for two hours. To no avail as the room still stunk and so, I went out and purchased a three wick candle so I could sleep through the night. Sorry friends, this is a hard NO for the Lamplighter Inn & Suites. Plus there were multiple male facial hair droppings in the sink -- gross!

Amazing place to stay.

Could use some improvement
Pros:

Stayed here one night since it was the nearest hotel to an event we attended. Not sure it deserves the "best of tripadvisor" award. The good: it was clean. People who work there were very friendly and responsive, which was really nice. Room was on the bigger side which was great. Great water pressure in the shower. Negatives: door barely opened, it was sticky so took like 5 tries to open every time we used it, very irritating. A/C was too loud so we slept without it, too hot. Breakfast was basically 100% ultra processed, sweetened food. Granted I am very health concious (WFPB) but nothing I could eat there except green tea. On the positive side, they did have some plant milk (almond milk), that's good.

Commencement hotel
Pros:

As my son is in Sdsu I came here before but this time it was for commencement ,nice hotel near Sdsu .perfect location and hospitality and this time it was decorated for the graduates as you would see from the photos ı shared

Unexpected gem!
Pros:

Great location. Rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and clean! Beds were comfy. Shower pressure was great! Good Breakfast .

I had one year baby & 3 years toddler ,there wasn’t even a high chair in our room, crib also available for extra charge 😳 in breakfast area also there was only one chair for baby😟unfortunately second day the eggs were old🫩

We slept great and comfortable beds!
