The musical events, the pool party and the BBQ were very good.

I will definitely stay again. I do really enjoy this place.
Pros:

Ive stayed at this property for years when coming back to the SC area. I do love it. Staff is helpful, always clean and feels pretty safe over all. Great for kiddos and dogs when travelling with them.

Cons:

We had major issues with our keys throughout our entire stay. That was incredibly frustrating. I’ve never had this problem before. Plus they got our room wrong so we had an interesting situation which was quickly resolved- just a lil awkward. Again though quickly resolved so not too much of an issue.

Lovely property w/ relaxing atmosphere, but restrictive breakfast package & uncomfortable pillows
Pros:

The facilities were nice, and the property had a pleasant, relaxing ambiance. It was nice that the pool area were open late, although it probably would have been great if the pool was actually heated as advertised.

Cons:

The prepaid $25-per-person breakfast package was misleading because its limited inclusions were not disclosed during booking. The voucher covered only a specific American breakfast, and guests could not apply its value toward another menu item—even one costing less. Since I do not eat eggs or enjoy the available sides and meat options, I had very little I could eat and had to pay extra for oatmeal the second morning. The pillows were also extremely thick and hurt my neck; thinner or softer pillows should be available because not every guest finds the same pillow type comfortable.

I liked it, husband didn’t.
Pros:

I liked the seafood tacos and the music for dancing.

Cons:

My husband didn’t like that our room was near the main entrance of the 1st floor building because of the noise. He did not like that we had to pay extra for parking. He didn’t like his chicken sandwich. The shower was great, but a lot of water sprayed out from the tub, even with curtain closed.

Pleasant stay - Clean and comfortable

It was ok to put our heads down for the night. Clean and comfortable beds.

Cons:

Location. My fault I thought it was within walking distance from the beach but we had to drive due to the big roads.

Reserved a room with garden view, it ended up smelling like smokers lived there. Needed a different room… They only had a room available that was facing the parking lot. Plus, they required $15 charge for parking per car.

Room was not ready when we came at 4:30. ALSO - was not told by booking agent (Booking) that there would be an additional $15 to park for the night. That seems really excessive. Don't most people travel here by car?
