View and location were incredible. The room is a bit dated but otherwise clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the location and close it was to Hearst Castle. The view right from the hotel was beautiful, and we loved walking on the beach right in front of the hotel.

Cons:

The TV was old and fuzzy when we tried it.

Pros:

We stayed there for our wedding anniversary and experience was absolutely amazing including rose petals, champagne on ice, wonderful view from our balcony and the chimney for a magical evening 🙏❤️

OCEANFRONT VIEW! Close to Hearst & fireplace in room made this wonderful.
Pros:

Loved the VIEW beachfront location, the walking path, having a restaurant on site, all the activities such as big chess & checkers, and especially loved the fireplace in the room!

Cons:

The shower pressure was light & the shower drain was clogged. took 20 min for the bathtub drain to clear after a shower.

The oceanview, the setting, the trail on the bluff, the beach, the quiet

Some of the lights at the hotel were too bright - could be improved for night sky viewing by following rules for dark sky communities

Pros:

Die Lage direkt am Strand ist sehr schön. Mit zwei Pools und gut ausgestattetem Fitness-Raum ist auch für den Ausgleich auf der Reise etwas gegeben.

Cons:

Leider liegt das Hotel sehr weit außerhalb, wobei die ganze Gegend eher wenig bietet. Das Frühstücks-Restaurant fällt vor allem dadurch auf, dass mindestens vier Damen an jedem Tisch erscheinen. Das Frühstück selbst ist auch für US Verhältnisse eher nicht gut.
Der Check-in war auch eher formal und wenig freundlich. Die Zimmer haben die besten Tage hinter sich.

We enjoyed the chest game on lawn. Loved the fire pits in evening. The atmosphere is quiet and relax
Pros:

Loved the view. Loved the restaurant next door. Our view was obstructed by the pool. We were in room 161. They had nothing else available at the time. But other then that we do enjoy it there.

Cons:

What I did not like was they had no microwave in room. Or they had none to offer.

Definitely a come-again destination.
Pros:

The view of course. The rocking chairs on the balcony. The close by lovely path down to the beach. The employees at the hotel and the restaurant, all uniquely interesting and warm friendly people. Loved the feeling of solitude and wide open ocean vista.

Cons:

Would like to have an option of two queen beds or two full beds in the ocean bluff rooms.
