There are a lot of thoughtful little things this hotel did a great job with. Cookies at night. Salmon chowder when you checked in. Sleepy time tea in the room. These added features impressed us. Well done!
Some of the rooms have a great view of the Columbia River. Ours didn’t. Our view looked into a shipyard.
The salmon chowder every evening was a nice touch as were the cookies. Nice location. Dawn, at the front desk was so nice.
We love this hotel. Great price, great ambiance, love the tucked away location, the view of the river/bridge/shipyard and the staff are always great. Will return

Decent hotel, big room
Overpriced knowing how many empty rooms there are across the hotel and town. Breakfast is very limited with mostly unhealthy options

We constantly heard the people above us for 2 of the 4 nights.

To be fair, I would have rated this a 5 for views, prcimity to downtown, genuine friendly and helpful service, overall comfort, cleanliness and spaciousness; however there is a signicant area of improvement warranted.
The breakfast is well below the price point paid and ither Ascend brand locstions. Filled with processed foods, empty carbs and terrible coffee.

Warm Cookies and chowder at check in were great. Breakfast was well done - standard hotel breakfast fare. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Facility was clean, but starting to show its age. Price a bit high for the age of the property. Would have preferred to have sinks separated from sleeping area.

I liked the description of the breakfast. I’ve heard that it’s one of the better ones offered. Unfortunately it starts too late.
A 6am breakfast would have been a game changer. The 7am breakfast that was offered is way too late. The hotel had a bunch of construction workers like me staying there and we all get an early start and breakfast is a huge deal.
I won’t be coming back for this simple reason. Other hotels down the road, (Holiday Inn, Best Western, Hampton) all offer a 6am breakfast.
